Yeah – it’ll get better each day, I promise!
God yeah… going to the loo was tough… actually doing a lot of things like lifting a full glass of squash off the table was tough!!! I could start lifting my arms up (to like… brush my hair gently) at day 4… day 5 was when felt like I could actually sit with my sports bra off for longer than 2 mins (and tounch them… I was so worried about breaking them etc… haha) and today (day 6), I’ve happily changed tops to one that goes over my head etc without much bother at all – I can pretty much put my arm up straight BUT… trying to avoid doing it until the nurse has given me the all clear!
I think by the time your post op appointment is here… you should be fine. BUT… if your not, I wouldn’t stress about having hairy arm pits – pretty sure they’ve seen it all before 😉 nature of the business hehe! xx
