Haven’t posted for a while I am almost 8 months Post op. Around 2 months before my op I had the mirena coil fitted…I did want to lose abit of weight before my op however I did struggle and actually put on around 3pd by the time I had my op….The thing is I have always been slim with a high metabolism and weighed around 9 stone give or take a pound or two. Over the months even tho my diet has not changed and I still walk a lot and jog I now weigh 10 stone 11…I constantly feel tired and moody and after researching I have been speaking to many girls and women in the same boat as me…Therefore next week I am booking in to have the coil removed..My Problem is now I want to get back down to 9 stone an in my old clothes and feeling good again, I wondered if anyone cud advise me on whether or not my boobs are going to look awful and saggy as now I feel like they jus sit on my belly anyway 🙁 feel awful!!!! I had overs..are there any exercises I can do to tone my chest and maybe keep them pert whilst losing the weight? Thanks in advance girls xxx
Hey hun, I think its important to focus on exercising as well as eating healthily. What i find works for many people is atop eating after 7pm and make sure you eat fruit and vegetables whenever you begin to crave junk food.
Brisk walking, 25 squats everyday in the morning and before sleeping, sit ups, lunges, house work for 1 hour is great (vacuuming, dishes, polishing furniture, cleaning dust), dancing for 30 mins to 1 hour, climb stairs instead of using the lift.
All these should help to tone you up and lose weight simultaneously rather than lose weight and sag (i hate that word).
Dont worry about it hun, just start from tomorrow and you will see results in 2 weeks! X
Hi Sarah , how long after BA can you do these sort of exercise ? I had mine sept 10 so not long ago but have been eating junk for the past two weeks so need to get back to healthy eating and at some point introduce some exercise x
Hey i know.this exact feeling!
I used to.weigh 76kg @ the beginning of the year. Im super active i.clean for.a living i had.three horses.i went gym twice a day and i didn’t loose any weight. I also felt tired and rubbish.despite eating.fairly.healthy i.drink plenty of water too. I.had.blood.tests done and had an iron deficiency so now have.iron.supplemental which i dont feel do a lot. I also had.a bad back and when i explained my symptomati to my chiropractor she suggested coming off the pill. I dint have a partner at the.time so.i.did and i also became very strict with meals and portions.
I started eating big lunches a lot of wholegrain pasta and quorn sauces this would fill me up and keep me going all day so.in.the.evening i would have.a light snack then not eat after 7. I dint change my exercise Infact i cut back and since then i hhave now madhe it down to 68.9kg and tion still going. Im not even.that.strict anymore.
So there is hope you.just have to.persevere and stick with it. I also.use baritone sculpture shakes for.the days.when i.feel like running a bit low. Great.source of vitimins and minerals and the.chocolate is a nice.treat! In regards to.your boobs being saggy my friend went from 70kg to 59kg in less than six months and she looks great i think the larger the implants you have.the more likely.they will.be bot different after weightloss. B also i.think.the result differ if you.have.overs or underage. Xxx
I had unders 345 , and could do with losing about ten pounds do you think this is ok or could I end up with problems x
Im not sure when Ruth, I’d probably think after the 6 week checkup but I’m not certain. I’ve read that some girls went back to the gym and light exercises 4 weeks post op. Most importantly stop the junk now and eat fruit, vegetables, cereal bars etc instead. X
thanks for the reply girls, going to make out a rota type thing to make sure I eat at the right times , exercise more and eat healthier foods.. I am also still going to get the coil taken out as I feel its not helping my moods or skin either. xxx
