    It’s almost boobie day! Eeek!!

Just need your help girls with a checklist of what to take and do/not to do so I’m ready for my op. Do I have to use a certain shower gel?

    Menu

Hey hun, mine is next month but I saved this.. Its what a girl wrote on a different topic on this forum so all credits go to her, sorry i don’t remember her name šŸ™ But this is what she wrote:
Make sure if you shower that you try not to use shower gel if possible! This is on the day!
    No deodorant
    No perfume
    No make up
    Or moisturisers
    No acrylics or nail varnish
Hair up with a no metal hair band
    No piercings left in
You wanna be as natural as possible!
    Hahaha!
    Dos!
Comfy clothes! With a baggy or zip up front on the top! As lifting your arms is too difficult
Bottle of water for there and back for the journey!
    Sports bras
Iā€™d say get some anti sickness tablets just incase!
And for at home your V pillow and maybe a neck pillow just incase you need it!

Ahhh you must be so excited! Btw have you been applying cocoa butter? Apparently we have to stop applying 2 weeks before :S

Ooh I didn’t stop applying cocoa butter 2 weeks before, I used it till the day before, I wasn’t told to stop using it. What’s the reason you would need to stop using it for?
I’m now 12 days post op xx

Thanks Sarah been a massive help! Do you think wearing normal clothes there and then pj bottoms, sports bra and zip up top home will be ok? Ooo I’ve been applying moisturiser with cocoa butter in every day :/ no one told me to stop using it! I can’t see what effect it could have on anything xx

@Iorna cocoa butter just helps increase the elasticity of the skin, I dont know why one would have to stop before their op thoigh.
@Sophie you’re welcome! Thats what I am going to do too.. Normal clothes on my way to the hospital and tracksuit and sports bra for the way back! šŸ™‚ xx

Sophie if you can bring a zip up jumper! I don’t think we’d be able to raise our arms to wear a normal one šŸ˜›
