    Very true Adele, they do advise us of these time periods for a reason, so it’s probably safer to wait 6 weeks!

    hi was told six weeks, they do tell you for a reason, a friend of mine is a cosmetic surgeon nurse and says stick to it as they are healing and any exercise of any sort could cause blood clots behind, she has had alot back, i do not think it is worth it, but up to the individual..x

    Just wanted to know what you have been advised regarding having sex with your partners?? I thought it was about 5-6 weeks?? I told my bf, he was a bit disappointed!! haha

    yes i could possibly go without it for 2 weeks but no chance of that having a randy hubby that i have, god i dont think i could make up that many excuses lol

    oh if it was up to the hubby it would be on the day of the op!!! 2 weeks thats called torture to my hubby lol

    i suppose each person is different so he will have to wait and see!

    We waited 2 weeks and 2 days after my op – not that i was counting, but hubby was !!!!

    I think you have to wait and see when you feel comfortable yourself to go ahead, nothing too stenuous tho’ :)

    hi girls,

    That is the only thing my husband is worried about SEX typical bloke, i told him the booklet says to avoid for 6 weeks and he was like no way is he not having it for 6 weeks. i can now reassure him he wont need to wait that long not that i would get away with it anyway as he is also looking forward to the twins!! lol

    Me and my partner did it 3 days after, this was due to me nagging him (was on period before surgery and hormones went into overdrive, it was in missionary position with me being propped up, took things very steady and we were absolutely fine, things nearly back to normal in bedroom stakes now, no gymnastics as yet but are managing fine…..x
