    Any girls on here do weight training for a lean shape?
    I just started a little over 2 months ago and ofcourse the BA is going to come along and ruin my progress.
    Pretty upset about it. But do you know if I’ll be okay to train legs before the 6 weeks is up? I plan not to lose too much strength/fitness while healing.
    Im having overs 🙂

    I started exercising at 3 weeks post op and that first week I was seeing how much I could actually do. I normally run really fast for 30 minutes on cross trainer so instead of this I was power walking and walking up on the highest incline. I then do 30 minutes on cross trainer (using no arms) on the same incline I used to do before and that hour I burn like 700 cals whereas before I used to burn about 750 so overall I am still getting a really good workout! I am over 5 weeks post op today and ran for the first time and it’s absolutely fine! just got a really high impact sports bra on under gym top and they don’t move! And no I haven’t really lost any strength. Only thing I haven’t worked on is abs so will wait till six week check next week to get the clear for doing that. I felt totally fine after two weeks and by 3 I was deffo ready to hit the gym! Everyone is different I guess but I worked out 4 times a week hardcore before so even 3 weeks was hard not to do anything!

    Aww fab! Bet it felt great to get back to it!
    They do say people who keep fit heal quicker/with more ease
    Whether this is true I dunno!

    Also, a different company told me no sex for 6 weeks after BA (eeek!!) So glad you said you were back at the gym so soon Lol!

    Hey I do weights too and worried about this. I also run as my only bit of cardio as building lots of muscle in glutes and sculpting my back. Need to keep training as my wedding is in march! Hope you girls don’t mind me adding as would love to see results! Got my op booked for dec 14th 525cc x
