definitely get a hoodie, cardi, or nightie that fastens at the front. and jogging bottoms are a good idea. I wasn’t in much pain but felt strange and really delicate. i’d definitely suggest putting your hair in a braid before your op so it can be left a few days coz you can’t lift your arms to do it. I didn’t think of that when I got mine so the nurses had to mine up for me x

At the time my bubba was 3 months old he went to his grandparents for the first night then I went to my mum n dads with him they helped but to be honest I only really needed help carrying him n bathing him I just didn’t pick him up as much as before but by day 5 I was carrying him n bathing him at the end of the week everyone is different but me and my sister In law did it together she has 2 little ones and we both found it soo easy no where near as bad as everyone says and as you have little ones it makes u just get on with it because you have it instead of moping about.. It’s not really painful it’s just achy but when u do something you body will tell you your pushing it too far xx
