How long before I can go running normally after a BA? Do you think I could run the wolf run 3 months after, it’s a 10k run through mud, lakes and obstacles?

Hi Lucy, oh have you, I hope it all went well for you. Can you let me know how you get on with exercising when you feel up to it?

    Thanks Amy. X

Oh good question! I’m doing wolf run next year and having op in December. Think it’s worth just holding off for as long as possible and then getting back into it. I’m concerned cause I have my wedding 2 months after op and I’m scared I’ll comfort eat in 6 weeks off the gym. So training hard, lifting, running etc before and hoping if I eat sensibly I won’t gain too much. Then maybe start walking afterwards and eventually gentle weights till I feel confident again xx

Hey Lucy can I add you? I would love to here how you get on with your recovery and exercise? I am a runner too, no marathons but I do 10ks regularly and was planning a half marathon in spring if I am fit to do so.
