Hiya. Just been reading posts about ppls ba rippling and that it is common with cui implants. Has anyone had cui implants n not had this issue. I am only 1 week post op but not getting my strapping off until tomorrow so have not seen them yet. I am really worried I will get rippling now and going to regret getting them? Any advice? Xxxx

No I don’t think so love, it’s goes on quite a few things! What size u were before to the size of implant, and if lose weight while having the cui implants in ect it’s abit risky but if ur surgeon said they should be fine for u then really we should be able to trust them xx

Hi Jo 🙂 No they don’t all ripple, they do have a higher chance of ripples than the Allergan premium implants hence the price difference but they certainly don’t all ripple! It depends on a few factors, placement of implant, amount of breast tissue before augmentation, weight ect ect. Try not to stress about it and keep yourself relaxed so you can recover properly. Hope this helps x

Hey, im having cui implants on the 29th and have been so worried about this, so after doing lots of research online it seems that mostly it depends on the placment ( under or over ) and also how much breast tissue you had before, also if your skin is thin, if you are realy skinny and dont have alot of breast tissue they advise naturelle but if your surgeon has alowed you to have cui then im sure you are fine and wont have any rippling! The surgeons wouldnt let you have cui if they felt you wasnt suitable for them :), so dont panic im sure you will be fine ! 🙂 xx

Hi Jo, yes that’s true rippling can occur at anytime but wether you have cui or naturelle there is a risk of rippling oviously between the two the naturelle have a less chance of showing visible ripples it doesn’t mean you will not get rippling! if you have thin skin you are at more risk the tissue around the implant is not enough hence the implant starts to wrinkle showing through the skin, fat transfer can always be used to correct this or weightgain but sometimes it’s hard to fix it unless changing the placement which can make it appear better x
