So im 4 weeks PO, and i still have my stitches poking out the side of my incisions, is this normal ?? I worried they may be embedded in my skin as iv heard some people have had this. Anyone PO any advice on the stitches girls

Are they dissolvable ones hun?? My nurse snipped the ends off mine when I got my dressings taken off, and I didn’t really see them at all other than that. I think some surgeons use ones that have to be taken out though? Maybe call your clinic and speak to the nurse – it’ll be fine I’m sure. But just speak to the nurse to check it out and put your mind at Ease! x
Yeah there ment to be dissolvable ones hun, just think they should have gone by now surley, maybe im gonna call the nurse tomorrow just to check. Thanks Laura x
