Just wanted to let you in on my experience! I’ve been following the forum for the last few weeks but haven’t actually posted yet but found it so incredibly useful that I feel I owe it to the forum to post about my experience!! I had a breast augmentation last Saturday so about 5 days ago with Mr Mounir and I am already back to work!! I had 255 CC dual plane and I feel absolutely great and love the results I already have at this stage (I know they will still change a lot).
My experience with MYA so far has been so smooth and to say at the start I was a nervous wreck, it was all done at my pace which has made it so much more memorable!
I cannot recommend my surgeon Mr Mounir enough. He listened to the kind of results I wanted and went through the different types of options I could go for and sizes to achieve realistic results. On the day of the surgery, he came in to make sure it was still what I wanted to do and with this I actually changed my mind on the size implant I wanted. I originally decided on 310cc but then saw a friend’s implants that were 310’s and I was terrified because they looked so big!! It was about 2 weeks before that I wanted to changed and ended up only telling him on the day – oops… but he was totally fine with this even at such short notice! Handled it like a pro! He went through all the risks and how the procedure would work which totally relaxed me before it was my turn.
After the surgery he came in to check I was okay, at this point I was still a bit dopey due to the anaesthetic but it was nice to know he wanted to see how I was doing!
Within 2 hours of coming out of my operation, I was up and walking about, admiring my new boobs in the mirror (LOADS of selfies sent to friends haha)!! Also, just a question, I didn’t get fully strapped up, but I’ve read that other girls have done. What’s the reason for this? I know I had dual plane – Mr Mounir explained it but I didn’t really get it!?
It has been such an amazing experience for me (I know im only 5 days post op) and I truly believe one of the main factors was my surgeon and the MYA team! I’ve read all about dropping and fluffing on the forum – I’m still mega rock hard so know I kind of need to wait a bit for it to happen…just impatient now as they’re rock hard. How long did it take for everyone to drop/fluff!?
Basically, this experience has been so easy, no pain and actually so much fun!! The journey is only beginning! If you are thinking about a Breast Augmentation please go see Mr Mounir, he’s AMAZING!! Xxxx
