    Hi Ladies,

I’ve been too’ing and fro’ing between having this surgery (New boobs) on and off for over 4 years now and for different reasons (Including having children) holding it off.
Having been for consultations before and more recently again I’m now in a position to go ahead with it –
With the funds arranged its basically about confirming my date.
Before I do though I have a few questions I was hoping you could help me with.

Having been for a new consultation this week, I’ve been offered a date of 20th December in Highgate (Which is 1.5 – 2 hr’s) from me –
Is this way to soon to commit as this gives me only 10 days from re-starting the original process to having the op?
And I would’nt be staying overnight I would be travelling home afterwards – Would this be a good idea – Has anyone else moved this quickly?

Plus with Christmas the same week – Would I be mad to do it then with having children too?

Alternatively I could have the Op late January?
Now I’ve set the ball rolling again I really am keen to do this as quick as I can and as mad as it sounds this seems like ageeeees away, But for me the quicker I can have it done the less time I have to think of horror stories to put myself off again.

I’m having Mr Singh for my Op (Meeting this week) and am undecided on size, But after following peeps advice from now and before I know to ask for the biggest size I can fit so as not to have boob greed after.
I would be over the moon if any of you girls who have had Mr Singh recently with ‘Naturelles’ from 385 – 415 could add me.

Sorry for the long post – Just hoping for as much advise as poss in case I decide to go ahead with the op in 10 days xx

Hello hun I got you pm but thought it was easier to reply to you on here! (I was actually going to anyway before you pmd me lol)
I have a little boy who is 13months (I also have a step son who is 8!) how old are your children? I was like you in two minds about getting them this side of Xmas much like you are but I think really it depends on what support you have? There is no way I’d have gone ahead without my other half and mum to rely on! I honestly could not have done it without them!!! What size are you now? Are you having overs or unders? Anything under the muscle is more painful so again you’ll have to take this into consideration what with having children and being so close to Xmas! I had partials and see
To be healing well it feels exactly like when your milk comes in! X

    Hey Hun,

Ahh thanks for replying, I have three children (2 Girls and a Boy) My Husband is amazingly hands on so I have no worries there its more I wont give my self enough time to finish the christmas shopping and be able to properly cook the christmas dinner etc – But i suppose i could give hubby a list and teach him to cook! haha.

I’m a deflated B i would say now, Haven’t measured in years they’ve changed so much with the kids and my bras are normally so highly padded it wouldnt matter anyway haha – Do you know that’s how I’ve imagined the pain to be like the babies milk coming in – I remember having to walk sideways through doors mine was so painful (In fact i enjoyed labour more than my milk homing in)

I am meeting with Mr Singh this week but am hoping for the biggest i can for my frame and i’ve opted for the Naturelles
(Would prefer Overs if i can)

id say go for it, as long as you have a couple of people around why spend another second with something you want to change. I’m doing mine this sat and will have my partner around for 48 hours then hes back at work for the week and ill have the boys at home, but after that week hes off for xmas.
Its a great xmas pressie to yourself! 🙂

It sounds like you have a good level of support hun so I’d be inclined to go for it! You’ll be surprised with how much you can actually do to be honest! I’m 4 days post op today which will be you Xmas eve if you go for it and I can do most things apart from lift my baby (although he managed to get half way up the stairs when my other half popped out to walk the dog and my instinct kicked in and I lifted him onto my lap without thinking about it and it didn’t hurt as much as I’d had thought) just stock up on ibuprofen and paracetamol and I found my hot water bottle to be a god send and you can get this ibuprofen gel for your back and neck as they’ll feel quite stiff!
I think you’ll be alright to prep all the veg etc just won’t be able to lift anything too heavy like any massive roasting tins! Haha also do you have a slow cooker? I have found mine to be so useful since having my op as you can chick everything in it in the morning and then when your hubby is home at least dinners cooked! It’s all little things that help you out and just make it a but more bare able! I’m not one to sit around not doing anything so you still feel at least like youve been able to do something!
I’ve done all my Xmas shopping online this year as I didn’t know how I’d be post op! But so long as you complete all the shopping etc before I’m sure you’ll be ok! How old are your little girls? I’ve found that my step son has been trying to do more for my 13month old since my op too so maybe your girls will be able to give you a hand? If you have any questions this forum literally is the best place!!! Xxxx

I had Mr Singh so feel free to add! I did have a larger implant but you could take a look at the scar work ect if you like. If I were you I would do it in January, a lot ladies do have BA booked this close to Christmas and can say “Oh you’ll be ok” but having not yet had a BA and not knowing first hand I think that’s a bit of gamble… some people cope really well after surgery/pain and some don’t. Having had two BA’s myself I personally would never want to go through recovery over Christmas, esp with kids. If only for the emotional roller-coaster it puts you on lol! I fairly easy recovery second time around but I still wouldn’t have wanted to deal with it over xmas! You’ve waited a long time, whats a few more weeks for less stress? Just my 2 cents! x
