I’m nearly 6 weeks PO and I haven’t yet had a day that I like my nose, it’s just the opposite to what I wanted, it actually exactly what I didn’t want. I’m hoping it’s just still the swelling but it’s not changed now since week 3, I’m presuming as they say that this might be near my final result as apparently 80% of the swelling goes after 6 weeks and surgeon says you can get an idea of what it’s going to look like.
I feel my nose looks flat from one side like boxer and my tip hangs down when I requested a slight upturn. I really hope this is going to change. Has anyone got any advise? I know they all day wait 18 mths fir final result but if I knew that it was going to be what I wanted I wouldn’t worry as much and instead look forward to the final result.

6 weeks is way too early to determine what the final result will look like it took me nearly two months to start getting used to my nose and 5-6 months until most of the swelling started to go ! That’s when I started to like my nose because I could see definition and the real shape it’s still swollen now in my tip and I’m ten months post op. You will see lots of changes over the months, did you have a lot done? Try not to worry too much at this stage x

Oh I really hope so. I can’t look at myself at the moment.
I had a lot done, more than discussed too I had a open septo rhinoplasty, bridge and tip work done and he decided to reduce my nostrils at the end which I didn’t know he was going to do.
I feel my nose is wonky and under the tip hangs down and looks like I’m getting a Polly beak from one side. I really hope it’s swelling, just wish I could see my surgeon sooner for reassurance as to whether certain parts will chance or if it’s meant to be like this.
    Can’t see him till 11 weeks 🙁

Yeah the more you have done the more swelling you will have and the longer it takes to go down, I had the same work done as you and my nose was over projected so everything was made smaller! I was googling a the time in the first few months about pollybeak I was worried about it too but I just realised that the swelling around the bridge went because it’s bone and that made my tip look huge because it’s just cartilage and takes a lot longer to heal so sometimes it can look a little weird! My advise would be to take lots of pics from different angles from time to time and compare them and see if you look any different over time I know that helped with me ! Hope you feel better about it soon x
