    Hey Hun I had the exact same thing! My shoulder was soooo sore I was hunching up more on one side than the other and I think that’s the worst pain I’ve had throughout the whole thing! Sleeping on your back for so long really hurts aswel! I’m 3 weeks post op on Tuesday and I think I’ve just started to feel comfortable sleeping and I’ve stopped hunching now the pain does go. Try sitting upright on the sofa with a hot water bottle it really worked to help relax the muscle xx

    The nurse I saw on the day of the op, before I left hospital said ‘keep your shoulders relaxed’ and I have found it’s helped. Easy to say of course but when you’re walking , sitting etc, try to drop your shoulders. Sleeping uncomfortably can’t be helping us x

    Thanks sugars 😉
    Ah yes well it’s not any pain that I’m feeling it’s the tightmess of the strapping and the compressing I suppose pulling me inwards? If that makes sense… Yhepp can sit up straight and all but when walking I don’t have a very good posture atm but hopefully after tomorrow with strapping off I will see improvements with the posture and my numbness that I currently have my boobies are like solid rocks , can’t wait super excited 9 days tomorrow wow!!Xx

    Thankfully i didn’t hunch over too much but i would say to try and avoid doing it as much as possible as it’ll only make you feel worse when you eventually come to walking straight!!xx

    Try lying on the floor with a rolled up towel along your spine. Opens you up a treat 🙂

    @Francesca thanks for the advice I’m sure il be fine after tomorrow I’ve got the macom on top the strapping and then some padding around the bottom and back to protect the incision ( advised by my nurse) so I think it’s the pressure of all this once I release tomorrow I should be fine, xx

    @lorna
    ha! Did you try this yourself darl? And no I’m not that bad but thanks might use that as a new technique to heal my back after my training 😉
