So today I thought I’d have a break from my Macom and give it a wash and wore my shock absorber to work…BIG MISTAKE!!!! It’s rubbing on my incisions, it’s so tight I’m having shooting pains in my boobs and my nipples feel like they’ve been grated!!!! Just feel like ripping it off but have another 2 hours at work 🙁 I’m sorry Macom I will never be unfaithful again…f*** you shock absorber!!!!!

I hate it!! It’s just soooo uncomfortable for me, I’m so used to my macom which I’d amazingly comfortable! I hate the shock absorber, the pain is horrible 🙁 guess everyone’s different!! I’m debating buying another macom Jess but like you don’t know if it’s worth it at 3 weeks PO!!

Hahaha ah mate stick to the trusty macom – I put mine in the wash everyday on a quick wash and quickly tumble dry it
Gives me chance to air the babes for half hour!
Even the macom is annoying me at the moment though!
Sick of the site of the frickin thing! Xx

I’m 8 months post op and still wear a Macom bra day and night without fail throughout the week. Only on weekends I wear normal bras and that’s only cos my boyfriend hates the Macoms lol x

The Macom is amazing too I wear that and on top I wear the shock absorber too I was told to do this and also my surgeon advises this, the macom is comfy and good for the early stages. Of after Surgery as it compresses the swelling but however after that not so good to support the boobs example a bag of oranges in a carrier bag when you first put it in bag its fine after awhile the weight of the oranges pull on the bag ( sagging) xx
