I don’t know if you’ve found on here most people are overs, so it’s hard to gage what healing difference we have being unders, what to expect etc.
I know it’s more painful being under’s, as I’m experiencing these last 3 days.
Day 3 feeling a bit more comfortable. If anything my back is hurting more than my chest today, as think where I’ve been tensed up I’ve caused my back to cease up, hot water bottle and v pillow are my saviour xx

My back is killing me. That’s where I’m suffering the most today 🙁
The dull ache on my chest is bearable, but the whole nipple stings and shooting pains have literally been taking my breath away, even though he went in from underneath so hasn’t touched my nipples. All very random.
I’ve got a band around the top and a Macon over the top. Haven’t touched either since put on in the hospital, too scared ill do something to interrupt the healing process.
@jfm make sure you get yourself a macom bra, it’s been my saviour, so comfy, expensive for one bra but worth it when u’ve spent all this money on implants xx

Im 9 days PO now. Feeling so much more comfortable.Worst time is first thing in morning, sitting up in bed, get a dull ache as I sit up. Gotta use stomach muscles to pull myself up.
I’m still resisting using my arms to push myself up out of bed and chairs as my main area of discomfort is the under my boobs and up to my arm pits, so dont wana put any further strain on there.
Get the odd shooting pain aswell, but id say over than that its more a case of my incisions healing.
Saw nurse for 7 day follow up, I’m now allowed to shower 🙂 she said where skin is healing on incisions it will feel like a pulling sensation.
Got my second Macom which is a god send.

@Gemma hope ur well hun. Exciting u got u op bkd. Mine are really coming on in shape, starting to look round and beautiful. Will put some pics up this wknd.

@Jade I will add u hun. But to be quite descriptive with unders they have to pull the muscle away from ur cavity wall and put the implant in, so healing is harder as all those muscle get disturbed and have to reattach. I didnt have s choice, it was what my surgeon could do with what I had. Plus my surgeon prefers under as their nicely secured under the muscle, less chance of flipping or rippling is what he said. I wad guided by the expert. xx

@Gemma, Hun get your normal bra size, so I was a 34B so just ordered the 34, it doesn’t ask for the cup size, as it’s a big expandable band which goes round you and fastens at the front.
My 34 (M) fits me perfect, pulls them in which it’s meant to do whilst their healing, supports them properly.
And don’t get the dear one now, as the band will rub on your incisions, get the cheaper one as it sits beneath ur incisions, that’s from the advice of Macom themselves. The more expensive one is for after 6wk PO if u wanted one then.

@Steph I said I wanted a natural look and not to look like stuck on beach balls, so unders is what I was advised to go with.

@Lyndsey Foster it does get easier, the first 3 days I struggled, day 5 onwards is more comfortable and now 9days I’ve got a slight uncomfortable underneath where my incisions r healing that all.
