    Hi @tea
I did develop a cold before I was due to have my BA. I had it a few days before. Therefore I was at the end of the cold with the usually snotty nose & sore throat but getting better!
They tell you to inform them if your not feeling well etc but I didn’t tell them incase they refused to do the surgery :-/ after all that wait I wasn’t letting anything get in my way ha I wasn’t that bad anyways!
it may be if it’s something more substantial, depending on the condition of the individual. Eg S&D etc
The nurse came and listening I my back (standard procedure) which was fine so there was no problems with my chest & breathing. Everything went ok 🙂
Totally up to you and how your feeling. Hope this helps xxx

Thanks Michelle for posting a reply 🙂
I’m having a open rhino so it’s probably a little stricter but my sniffles have almost gone now (I usually only have one/two days with a cold) ….. I am coughing now though but I’ve cancelled my shopping trip and am having soup for breakfast so fingers crossed there won’t be any problem.
    How panicky though!! Hahahah
    Xxxx

Hey hun, I had closed rhino 2 weeks ago monday and EVERYONE in my house had a cold. No joke i panicked so bad i googled and drank lemsip – i even wore a scarf over my face (yes i am a drama queen) but i read that if i had a cold they wouldnt do surgery as it is to do with your nose your more likely to get infection as there is a lot of internal work with nose jobs and its too much of a risk BUT you still have time to get rid of it – so rest up, lemsip, soup and get better soon xxx
