    Hi hun,
I dont know about your back problem i suggest you double check with your surgeon or G.P.

But i do have children my youngest one being almost 7months!!!!! My hubby has got 2weeks off work and then my sis-in-law says she will come and give me a hand. I am 5 days post op and i havent even held my little girl ((which is very hard)) but thats cos i know i wouldnt be able to and i dont want to damage my recovery or new boobs. Im due to see my nurse on weds and i will talk to her about slowly getting back into doing every day tasks. I would try and see if your boyfriend can have some more time off. I seem to remember being told it would take about 10 days before i could pick her up but i will be double checking that with my nurse.
I will let you know how i get on

    Hi,

Ive got a little girl whos 12months and a son whos 2. Im 13 days post op now. I will say it has been really difficult! I never realised how much i picked the pair of them up untill i couldnt! in and out the cot, the bath, the highchair, up and down the stairs….
I was unfortunate and one of my implants was sitting on a nerve and i was in agony for 9 days, i could hardly move, not alone look after the kids. But luckerly the surgeon has gave it a bit of a shoveand its eased it. Im 13 days now, and im lifting them, but carefully. The only thing i have to watch, is my little girl throws her back alot for some reason, and has managed to head put my boobs a few times. x x

I had my check with my nurse yesterday and she said because my skin is still so thin shes adviseing me not to pick my 7month old up for at least another week!!!! ((2weeks post op)) because all though my scars have started to heal really well and there not open or anything if i lifted anything to heavy i could still pop open

So im not even guna atempt to pick her up till im at least two weeks post op and wont be picking my 2 and a half year old up for a long time!!!!! But he is good at walking and getting in car alone etc.
