hi, my friend lost a baby around a week before she was due to have her BA and on the day she was due to have the surgery they took her bloods and the pregnancy hormone was still present so even though they knew she wasn’t still pregnant they couldn’t go through with the BA that day.they aren’t legally allowed to go through with the surgery if the pregnancy hormone is in your blood and if it is only 2 weeks away then it sounds like this could be the case with u. u should definitely ring them and let them know so they can advise u on what to do because if not it will only be an even bigger disappointment on the day.

My friend had her BA with The Hospital Group but I’m thinking they will all run things quite similar to each other – they either took her bloods or took a urine sample I can’t remember but I’m pretty sure they will take your bloods, I think you have to have your bloods taken before most procedures or surgery.

you will have to tell them about it and they’d probably find out anyway with the blood tests like jmc89 said.x
