Wow its been a long day for me girls.. Admission time was 9 am i didnt go in for my op until after 12. Everyone was so so nice there i only wish i wasnt so nervous before hand because before i knew it it was all over and done with. The bit that hurt the most for me was not the needle going into my hand, but the actual aneshetic going in (not that i knew about it for long!)
When i came round i was in a lot of pain and cpuldnt stop shaking for about 30 odd mins. The nurse explained this is a normal side effect but it really wasnt that much fun!
I think what i have learnt is that its important to remember that this is surgery at the end of the day and is a lot for your body to go through in such a short pace of time. Im deffo not trying to put you girls off as im so happy now but i do wish i thought more about the pain.
Later in the day the nurse gave me some more meds which really helped with the pain!
I slept for a good while after that and even managed to eat!
I live about an hour and a half away and have only just got home!
Its worth every second girls! Xxx
