    Just wondering how much help did you post op girls need in the first few days after the op? Were you ok been in a house on your own while your partners/parents were at work or did you need someone all day?
    I’ve got the option of staying with either my mum but will be left on my own from half 8 till 4 and we have dogs
    Or stay with my boyfriend but will be left on my own from 6 in the morning till 6 at night
    Or stay with my dad whose retired and have him there all day?
    My dad lives around an hour away and didn’t want to go there but if I’m needing a lot of help maybe it will be best, I’m used to living with my boyfriend now and even though he’s not supportive of the surgery I now he would look after me but him been away for a full 12 hours I’m thinking maybe too long for me to be on my own for the first few days

    Any help would be appreciated, thanks girls xxx

    I’m having unders too and I’ve been told these are worse recovering from. Xx

    Iv had unders and my boyfriend took a week off work and I’m so grateful. Just opening the freezer door to get ice out is hard. I think you would heal better by having someone there and not over using your chest muscles. I don’t no how id cope without him xxx

    I had uplift and BA. I live with my partner and he has his own business so could be quite flexible but he used to get me out of bed, make my breakfast then leave for work . if he couldnt come back at lunch he would prepare me something and then he’s come home about 7 for the evening. I tried to open my oven about 5 days post op and hurt myself so would recommend you have someone who can prepare everything for u xxx

    Everyone is different but honestly yes you should rest but help wise I’d say not even a week let alone few days I was back to normal activities at post day 2 and I did my own makeup my own hair cooking everything
    You will be fine it’s normal to think all sorts it’s just your nerves lol

    Thankyou girls! My op is on a Friday so I’ll have my boyfriend with me all the time over the weekend I just hope I will be able to cope in the house on my own when he goes back to work on the Monday. I don’t think I’ll cope been away from my boyfriend after having something like this done, my parents are lovely but no one can cheer me up and make me feel better as much as he can. Yeah I wasn’t nervous at all until now, it’s only10 days away! Xxx
