I am a 32-34 back size. What size macom should I buy? Medium or small?
Go for a back size bigger than normal cuz of swelling etc so go for medium x
I was told to get my usual back size for macom and one up for others xx
I’d get the tighter one as you don’t want it too big around the band. Better support x
I got med and its far too big iv had to take it in. Id say get small as im 32/34 . Wish i had get smaller one but didnt have time to send it back. Xxx
Not sure, i think there is a phone number on the website u could maybe ring and ask? When is ur op xxx
Im a 33 back size so wear a 34. I ordered a 34 and it fitted fine before op… just a bit ugly. Lol. I only had an uplift. I’m a D cup (sometimes a DD) after the strapping was taken off on day 6 post op, that’s when I had to wear my bra.. nurse tried on my marks and Spencer zip up front but it didn’t come anywhere near me so she tried my macom on. (I was lying down feeling faint which is why nurse was putting bra on me) hubby had to help her put it on me. It was snug! At home my boobs swelled and omg the bra was tight and uncomfortable. My boobs were bulging out the top and I had to undo the first clasp and it still dug in. I couldn’t stand it. I cried. I took painkillers. It lasted for ages.
I also had a tummy tuck and it was worse than the pain from that.
I wish id bought a bigger size…. plus uplifts make you slightly smaller!
Hoping it will arrive on Monday but dont think thatl giv me enough time to exchange, so hope the medium is ok.
Im a 33 back but I’d read that the macoms are quite giving so I bought the small. So glad I did. It fits perfectly. Only worn it once cos I actually prefer my high impact sports bra from asda. I bought the macom in white and its so see thru and clings to you nipples. So unflattering xx
Really wondering if I should buy a Macom bra too. At the moment I only have some of tescos high impact sports bras. They seem comfy enough but I wonder if they will give enough support?! How long do they take to arrive? X
Think i paid £4.99 for 2-3 working days delivery.
In all honesty I feel that the high impact sports bra gives me more support than the macom. There was another girl on here who was told by her surgeon that her shock absorber was better than the macom as the macom wasnt supportive enough. A lot of ppl like the macom cos it’s so comfy but at the end of the day its not about comfort its about supporting ur new assets! !! No point paing £4k on new boobs and them sagging cos u didnt wear enough support in the first 6 weeks. Xx
It’s my macom that’s more supportive than all the rest I have and scars can breath through the material. The macom is made with seams on the outside…But its not comfy at all.
My other sports bra’s let my boobies jig about in car and when i’m laying down they fall out the sides or the strap underneath rubs my incision line.. but I suppose we all like different things
