Can someone come with you for the op? Or can you only be on your own? I’m hoping to have a day case and don’t wana spend the night on my own so want hi take my hubby but can he wait with me?

Yeah they can come with you and wait in your hospital room while you’re in theatre x

I had my op at Preston and my partner came with me. The staff were lovely with him. Every time they asked if I wanted something they were asking him too. They didn’t make him feel like he was in the way at all xx

Haha no they were lovely and friendly he said the nurse came to check he was alright when I was having the op too which I thought was really kind because I know he would’ve been secretly panicking! Xx
