Had my strapping off today but sadly can’t upload pics as I have had a severe allergic reaction to the strapping 🙁 my boobs are covered in red sores and look awful. Did anyone else have this (I know it’s unusual) and if so how long did it take to clear up? X

I just had big plaster strapping over my cuts, I’ve had a reaction to that, very painful and sore. I’ve had it off 2 days and starting to feel better and redness is going down too xxx

hi hun. i had that as well. started the same night i had op done. by the morning it was itching and peeling off taking my skin with it. came home but had to go back the following day for them to take it off as i was itching all over and hurting. i had blisters all over

I did mainly in the under arms area and rounds the back. I’m still marked now just over three weeks x

I’m sure you’ll be fine @Harriet it’s pretty unusual and the nurse said my reaction is severe xx
