I’m booked for 20th May.. Had to wait til after my skydive which is on the 17th May ! I do have Arnica as I have it in the house anyway. The Dermatix scar sheets help not only protect your scar while healing but help it heal better, that’s from what I understand from the girls on here. You cut them to size and wear for 12 hours a day from around 6 weeks post-op. The advice from the all the girls on here is invaluable .. I wouldn’t have known what I needed and what to buy if it wasn’t for this forum!! X

They are on ebay, search for Dermatix. There are the sheets, around £10, one in a pack which can be cut to size, washed and reused. Or there is a gel which is a bit more expensive but probably less hassle, might go for the gel instead myself ! xx

ooo thanks I will have a look 🙂 I’ve still a few bits too get yet like front opening tops and that, costing an arm and leg for everything! trying to keep costs at min as wanna have more money for nice bras and a few nice dresses (i’ve avoided dresses forever as I feel disproportional so can’t wait to buy some!) xx

Yeah I could do with a couple more front opening tops. I know what you mean .. spent nearly £80 just on the three post op bra’s, but at least I can sell the Macom on when I’m finished with it. Keep the asda one for wearing at night and the M&S one I can continue to use as a sports bra when I’m back to training. Can’t wait to go for some gorgeous lingerie that I can fill out too lol!! I know what you mean about dresses! I love to wear dresses and wear a padded bra to give the illusion of shape but I’m still empty at the top so have to be careful which dresses I buy so you can’t tell !! We’ll be going mad buying loads of gorgeous new things haha 🙂 xx

Yeah I’m the same, i’m deffo gonna sel macom’s on afterwards, least get some money back, but its even like the front opening hoody/tops i probs won’t wear again so just a waste of money, i’m gonna get one or two and then get tops that are stretchy (like vest tops) to pull up through legs, over bum and put arms in without having to lift them…least i can re-use them for gym or whatever… i know i’ve avoided them at all costs and can’t wait as theres soo many gorgeous ones! and don’t get me started over lingerie haha..just gonna be a never-ending cost these boobies haha 😛 xx

@CRx I used arnica from two days pre op, and I haven’t had any bruising whatsoever. Sadly I had a bad allergic reaction to the strapping but bar that no bruising at all which I was shocked at because I felt insanely bruised whilst the strapping was on so reckon the arnica helped massively, plus I’m very prone to bruising as I’m a diabetic.
And with regards to the front fastening clothing I literally have one zip front hoodie which I had already but other than that literally have been in vest tops which I pull all the way up my body and hook my arms through like you mentioned above. Mostly from H&M 🙂 x

ooo i’m glad i’ve got it now then Lucinda 🙂 i’m not having strapping though fortunately, it looks so uncomfortable! and yea I was thinking that as long as don’t have to lift arms.. tbh I put most my clothes on like that anyway haha (lazy :p) and ye deffo can’t wait for a night out, not had one in months due to not wanting to go out without boobs lol x
