Generally each morning I wake up pretty stiff but don’t have much pain. However as the day gives on they get really sore to the point I’m in agony by bed time! I’m 9 days PO and still taking regular painkillers. I really thought I’d be getting better by now, is anyone else the same? X

I wonder if I’ve just been doing too much. Since my hubby went back to work on Tuesday I’ve been running around after my 2 year old and been out walking twice with my mum. The fact I’ve not been sleeping great is maybe affecting it as I know the best thing for healing is sleep! 🙁 hopefully things will perk up soon xx

it could be a whole range of things, you could be doing too much, not taking the tablets at the right intervals etc. Are you doing a lot of reaching for things?xx

It’s awful I explained all this to the nurse and she was just oh well I don’t know what to suggest other than try wear the Macom for the next week at least. I’ve even reduced it to the loose catch and it’s still no better. I’m sat with a primark 2.50 one on at the min cause I’m past my self. Witch bras have u got? Xx

I’ve found the comfiest ones are asda stretchy ones that are like crop tops. I’ve also got high impact ones from tesco but they are ok for a little while then totally dig in. Have tried multiple sizes to see if it makes any difference but not really! My nipples are pretty sore and sensitive tonight too 🙁 Hopefully tomorrow’s a better day xx

#Hi Cheryl. i know who you feel. im 5 week post op tomorrow and today is the most comfortable i have been. i have tried numerous bras and had to change throughout the days.
today i had on one from the sports shop that a girl on here had mentioned. she had hers from debenhams. its high impact. total bargin in sports shop at £17.99. also one from asda is great. What i have found is the problem area is incisions and my nipples being sore. my daughter suggested breast pads to stop the fabric rubbing. WORKS A TREAT. i have also found that if i put oe under the bottom edge of the bra this makes it more comfortable.
