Hi girls,
So my op is next Thursday with Dr Traynor, I thought I’d be nervous by now but I’m just so so excited! I went shopping today and bought some button up pjs, v pillow, new pillows, books and other bits. I’ve bought a Macom bra and two surgery bras from Asda, should I take all three with me to my op?.. Does anyone have any tips for the day or anything you think I should take with me, I’m a bit worried I’m going to end up forgetting something..
I’m currently an a/ small b and having 340 overs, has anyone else had similar?
Xxx
I would take all ur bras with you, you may find one fits better than others.
I would say stay relaxed and enjoy it you will be in great hands and be well looked after.
I was a 32A and had 325cc high profile unders 10 days ago and I am now wearing a 32DD sports bra. Oh and I had Mr Taynor too. Take a look at my pics if you want.
Mines not till 13th May with Traynor but just wanted to say good luck and even though i’ve not had mine yet i’d say jusr enjoy it all 😀 i’m gonna take the 3 bras i’ve bought with me on the day, don’t know what others have done though? and i’m not sure but do you need ID? i read that somewhere but may have been on a diff BA forum about a diff company xx
I’m so excited I usually get really anxious about everything but really quite calm about this 🙂
Thanks for the advice! I bought some prune juice as well, heard that helps with going to the loo from the meds. Hope I don’t need I.d. Only lost my passport the other week haha
Xx
arh it shouldnt be a problem tbh i think it was a diff company 😛 and ee don’t think i could drink it 😛 i’m just gonna take a load of food and drinks for afterwards for on way home, cause if it’s like any other times i’ve been in hosp I’ve been starving on way out 😛 … ooo i heard too if someone going with you take food/drinks for them cause sometimes they don’t offer them food, which hosp you at? preston? and yea remain calm, i genuinely believe if you have a positive mind you will have an easier recovery (maybe thats just me though!) xx
Yeah I’m at Preston, I’m gonna take snacks and stuff 🙂 my friend had her op with traynor and I think she’s had the easiest recovery possible, she was food shopping the same day as her op and has just carried on as normal! I booked my op about ago and it’s gone so so quickly, just hope I have a speedy recovery, not looking forward to sleeping upright haha xxx
arhh yea let me know how you get on as i’m there too a week or so later 😀 and arh ye everyone is so different, I’m hoping for speedy speedy recovery like that too 😀 how long ago sorry? (think it messed up) I booked 8 weeks in advance and have 25days now so has gone quick, just hope next bit goes quick too 😀 😀 and i know, dreading that, luckily i can only sleep on my back now anyway but still dreading the week of upright.. what size asda bra’s did you get? (did you get the pink/black one) i’m having 520 and bought the 32E but don’t know if that will be about right.. I’ve got 2 macom too (& two crappy ones i got of ebay, i should actually send back they’re that crap!) xx
I booked a month ago, wanted it done ASAP. I got the black and pink one which I got in 36c and got a plain black one that’s just medium, I wanted to get a 36d as well in case but they had none left so going to have to look somewhere else.
I’ll probably put up pictures after the op so ill send a friend request xxx
oo so you’ve not waited that long then!! I was gonna book on the 28th April (as have full amount then) but my PC said just book now and then you can pay it and have a guaranteed date so glad i did otherwise now I still wouldn’t have even booked!! and arh order online and they will send it to store to pick up, thats what I had to do as they didn’t do them bras in my local asda .. only had to wait 2 days for it and they do seem really good, it’s thicker than the macom, seems like it will hold better and thanks ye will accept now 😀 xxx
No, not that long, I think places were booking up pretty fast, everyone wants boobs for summer! Haha that sounds good I think I’ll buy a couple more types just in case xxx
