    So last night I decided to go out for my tea and have a few glasses of wine first proper outing since my ba ten days ago xx result was getting home and feeling so Ill then being violently sick. Moral of this tale don’t rush to do things before your ready x

    @Emma just wondering does the surgeon tell you about drinking etc after op as I no you can’t drink smoke ect 2weeks before do they give you recommendations for nights out after BA or drinking ect

    Oh no Emma hope your okay. IM going out for a night out tonight 12 days post op. And i haven’t had a drink in about 2 years. I wasn’t planning on having much hope in not sick though

    Drinking was the first thing I asked about when I went to see the nurse on Friday.( please don’t think by this I am alcoholic lol)…I do enjoy the odd glass of wine of an evening but she said to stay off drinking for 6 weeks…delays healing process apparently…so I went to my neighbours pampered chef party last night and thought oh one glass wont hurt surely..but… after a few sips I felt really bad…gutted!..i guess for some of its gunna take some time to feel normal again!….really think we need to rest up as much as possible and listen to our bodies…I popped to shop this morning and now I am home I feel knackered.and worst back ache ever! .def was too much excitement for one day.so .day on the sofa for me today..again!! boring as it it I am not gunna risk ruining my boobs…they cost me a fortune, lol x..

    I drunk at 2 weeks po like told I could and absolutely fine, made sure all antibiotics were out my system as my sis ended up in hosp from this once x

    I drank a few glasses at about 4 days post op and continued to do so. My healing has been fine, my incisions are really good and I feel fine. Everyone is different x

    I was told two weeks for the alcohol and smoking but I have to say I’ve had ops before and my last one on my foot awake and my surgeon advised I go home and have a glass with my codeine phosphates and antibiotics lolxx I’m really naughty as I smoke as well x didn’t stop before and have not stopped after I know ladies don’t shout !!! I hear you from here xx I know what you mean though I have been out for my lunch with my friend then just nipped to tesco I’ve been out three hours and I’m absolutely knackered x feet up now don’t feel sick though today xxxeveryone is different on everything with this procedure xxx

    Yes that is a worry Laura isn’t it especially if you go somewhere busy xx you’ll have to get all your friends to stand round you in a protective circle xxx and all move together xxx

    Hope you are feeling better now … Vomiting is something I dread After this!! I have a phobia of vomiting, so more worried abt that than the pain.. Sad I know! Hope u are feeling better now though. Xx
