Need UGRENT help on implant size girls!! Started by: Emma Glasgow

0pHi everyone. I have joined the MYA Forum this morning and looking for some advice. Every word is extremely appreciated!
Here is a quick intro –
I have been researching for a long time about having breast augmentation as I have never been fully happy with my chest size. I was almost 3 stone heavier this time 2 years ago and the unimaginable has happened, I have lost the boobs I never even had! As a female, I am not sure whether we are ever fully happy with our figures, but my breasts have got me really down over the years and its about time I did something about it!So I visited many surgeons and have chosen to go with Dr Ben Chew, from Rosshall Hospital in Glasgow on the 10th of June so VERY soon. He is a BRILLIANT surgeon who wants to know so much about who you are as a person before he even goes into detail about breast surgery which was lovely.
The problem –
As I have a petite figure and not much loose skin above my breasts, he has suggested I go for under the muscle (dual plane) with moderate projection round implants which I am very happy with! (teardrop or anatomical implants would make them a little too low with what i have at the minute). I have slightly different sized breasts so he has suggested I go for 260cc in my right breast and 290cc in my left. I am currently a 34A at the minute and after doing a lot of research, many girls have went for my sizes and jumped to a 34D with those CC’s. He informed me there is a change I could end up a 34D. He has suggested we could go for a 230cc and 260cc instead and said he will have all the sizes there for my op date. I would preferably like to be a mid C – full C as I think a size D would be very large on my frame but at the same time, I do not want to go too small and wish I had went for the larger size.I would greatly appreciate all advise or even girls who have had experience with a similar issue.

0pMy advice would be to go for the biggest size.
I’m 5 ft 1 and a size 8 and I’m measuring a 32G/GG
I know it sounds massive but it doesn’t look huge.
I hope that helps in some way.

0pHi, I only have a small frame am 9st 9lbs and 5ft 4inches i was the same i didnt want to be to big but then i was going behind the muscle and i heard you lose 10% so i would also consider that when deciding although i didnt have the same size as what your thinking of having, i had 500cc behind the muscle i actually dont look that big at all in clothes and everyone has commented to say they look so natural and how nice they are am actually an F at the moment but look no more than a C/D in clothes

0pThank you very much girls. Its so funny that everyone can be completely different sizes with different implants. Katy – my surgeon did say that you will lose 10%. I did the rice bag in bra test and they did feel pretty big but I need to keep in mind that I am flat chested (VERY flat chested on my left size) so to go 230 or 260 on the left does seem rather small. I just don’t want to make the decision then think I look too top heavy after surgery 🙁 xx
its so hard to explain with implants….basically do not go on the final size you will measure. ..implants measure larger than they look….I measure a 34E from 34A having 410cc unders….however I look a D cup in clothes and look a DD naked go figure lol this is what happens with implants…. so in clothes I dont look big big, I look like I have a descent medium size boobs, the 200 range really isnt alot, however as you said you only want to look a full C this would accomplish that size. do bare in mind alot of girls wish they had gone bigger so my advise is go for the bigger option. unfortunately when swelling has gone…and they fall into a natural shape alot of us think we would of wanted bigger. but best of luck on whatever you decide xx
I was a 32A and had 325cc high profile unders wanting to be a full C small D but 4 weeks post op and Im wearing 32DD sports bra. I never imagined I wanted to be a DD but I think the size is perfect, couldnt be happier.

0pI’m slightly worrying now, I’m a 34AA and having 500 & 550cc to make me a DD/ E, but reading how much cc you girls had I’m worried I’m now gonna be huge. My op date is 1st June x

0pI think everyone is completely different and your surgeon will advise you on the best size to go Sarah! I have quite a broad chest for being so small so I was told the width (dimension) of the implants best suit my shape and that because I have so little skin to play with, he would struggle to fit a bigger implant in! xx

0pI think definitely go for the biggest size. Sarah was right in what she said implants measure bigger than they look so if you want to look a c then go for largest implants offered. Even though you may measure bigger you will look the size you want. Good luck for your op xx

0pI’d say go bigger., I never wanted to be big, I wanted full C small D, a D is not as big as us girls with no noobs think I reckon cos they look perfect for me! I am very tiny, Infact my dad told me yesterday if I painted my face red id look like a matchstick lol. I am 5,2, weigh 8stone and size 8. I had high profile, 365cc from a 34a/b, am now a 34D. good luck x
