Hi girlss
So, I keep going from being realllyyyy excited about the thought of getting a boob job, to getting really nervous about the idea, then just stressed at trying to find the ‘right’ surgeon! I wondered how you guys chose your surgeon? I mean I thought that you went to an initial consultation with like the patient co-ordinator person? (Dont know if I’ve said it right, but you know like the consultation before the one with the surgeon?) and then are you just TOLD who your surgeon will be? Or did everyone decide before hand and ask specifically for who they wanted? Sorry if I’m asking a really dumb question!?

Its normal to feel that way im nervous one minute excited the next.. my surgery is on the 25th june.. ur first consultation will be with your co ordinator you will be given the names of the surgeons that cover that specific clinic.. you can see as many as u wish and as many times as u wish then u decide who ur most comfortable with.. i had the choice of 3 and i went with the 1st one i saw.. gary traynor.. because i instantly liked him and felt at ease with him.. hope this helps xx
I picked the surgeon I wanted as I had previously used him as he is know for working with larger implants. Good luck! X
I looked at it this way Hun, they won’t be doing the job or working for mya if there rubbish, so see who they advise and see if you gel with him and can offer what your looking for, if for any reason he can’t ask to see the next option you were given and see if he is any better for you.
You will find someone and try not to stress yourself let it all come natural and don’t rush yourself you will know when u have found the right surgeon.
Are you far from your clinic if you keep having to pop in for appointments xxx
I chose Mr Traynor, he wont gove people the ‘big fake look’, but still gives tyou options, where i think some of the other surgeons will go bigger if you want them… and some wont do anything like thats and only do smaller so ask your PC 🙂 xx
I went for mr kazzazi because I know people who have had him before! Also because he’s the medical director and makes all the decisions, I felt better having the surgeon which was in charge sorta thing! He also does natural looking which I was going for xxx
Thanks for all the comments girls! All really useful stuff to know 🙂 I checked out Kazzizi and Traynor on the MYA website but their not listed under the London branch…soooo disappointed! They were my top two to have consultations with after I hear their name keep cropping up as ones to go to for a very ‘natural look’. I suppose I’ll just have to keep looking! xx
Hi Amanda, you said you had a choice of 3 surgeons and went with Traynor? But did you see all 3 surgeons and then choose Traynor or did you only decide to see Traynor and felt you didn’t need to see anyone else? Also, when you say you can see the surgeons as many times as you want, would you not need to pay anything for the consultations?
Good luck for the 25th June! Hope it goes well 🙂 xx
I had initial consultation and booked my surgery date there and then with Mr Traynor. Had consultation with Mr Traynor and was happy so went ahead.
Hey Laura,
I just replied to a comment you wrote in another topic I had created 🙂
Wowww, that’s really quick though, that you did it all there and then, at the very first consultation. Had you looked at other surgeons elsewhere previously? xx
I had a consultation 7 years ago and didnt go thru with it so this time I knew i wanted to do this as I still felt same 7 years on. I researched my surgeon before meeting and couldnt find a bad word about him and was happy wen I met him then had my surgery 5 weeks later.
@ali01.. i chose traynor to meet first because i had heard so many good things about him.. i felt so comfortable with him i have seen him twice the 2nd time just cemented it such a straight to the point guy but not to serious honestly he was laughing at me.. and trying to guide me.. such a lovely man.. i couldnt be happier.. so i havent seen the other surgeons.. i saw him first last year but my son got so sick i had to put things off.. im so glad in a way that i got the 2nd meeting with him it made such a difference to me.. my personal experience.. if u want to see a surgeon more than 1 time there is no charge so basically just find who suits u.. i wanted singh at first then realised hes down south.. so maybe hes a option for u ive heard nothing but good things about him xx
Get the name check he is registered with BAAPS which is a devision within the royal college of surgens it’s easy to check if there not registered there then you have a choice not to use British registered plastic surgeon. I personally wouldn’t go under the knife unless I new he was registered but most girls on here are doing it as there surgeons arnt on the BAAPS web site but claim to be false advertising in my eyes
