So had an Email today telling me MYA no longer do the CUI Implants so now I have to pay another £400.00 for Premium ones!! This is so ridiculous! I’ve paid my deposit so they should honour my price.. Then when i question my PC she doesn’t reply to my Email – So annoyed, because they decided to change the implants they use i have to folk out more money! HELL NO it’snot that i can’t afford it it’s the principal now… Seriously dissapointed was having such a good experience until this!!! Any one else had this??

    any advice welcome!!

    Xx

The implants are supposed to be much better apparently hense the price with the CUI implants don’t they have to be replaced every 10 years? In that case toy would b paying again in 10years mentor are a better brand money bit sucks tho if your already paid deposit x

I know they are better Lauren, but they can’t just charge more once deposit it’s paid they have to honour the price the deposit was made on.. I work in cars sales i know all about this, if i were to sell a car to someone then be ey i’ve upgraded you’re caar because it’s better then the other onone but you have to pay the difference even though you’ve paid the deposit.. You can’t do that.. By law if they don’t honour my price they have to give me my deposit left! Sorry for the rant just really miffed off.. If i had been told when the implants had changed and if i mind it might not of been such a big deal but it was said like i didn’t have choice!! Xx

Katie I’d stick to your guns. It’s their choice not yours.

OH i am… Yeah from my first consultaion she wrote the price down.. I understand that the implants have changed but that’s nothing to do with me they have made the choice to no longer provide the CUI’s it’s a piss take.. Makes me not want my Surgery with Mya like they care about me I’m only one person i honestly just thought they wern’t going to mug me off.. Xx

Tell me about it Katie, i know the CUI’s are just as good it’s just the others have longer Warranty so don’t worry i’m sure they’re perfect. xx

I’ve had cui too I’d love to know the truth on why they have stoped using them. Stick you your guns, your price was agreed when u payed for the op to go ahead. Xx

Iv just had this to! My surgery is a week on Friday and I got a phone call off one of the mya staff tonight asking me to go back to see my surgeon as they have swapped the implants over to a different brand.. I was aware of this but I got told because Iv bin quoted for the cui implants and Iv now fully payed with my surgery only being 10 days away that I would still get the cui implants! I have been back on enamours times to my clinic one being about 3 weeks ago to have my pre op with the nurse and still no body told me about not being able to have the cui implants! I now have to go to Leeds when I’m not even from Leeds I’m from Nottingham way which is still an hour away from me to see my surgeon again because they have swapped over.. I’m so annoyed about it that they have left it this late to tell me. I no the new branded implants are ment to be better but what an absolute mess about 10 days before! Stressinghell x

Thanks Natasha, i have no idea..I thought there must be more girls that have booked to have CUI’s and been told they’d have to have them changed hence the reason for my post.. I’m sure there is nothing wrong with them i do believe the new ones are just softer and the Warranty is longer on them.. I suppose the just want to give their Clients the best but they need to make sure they don’t shit on people who have already booked and paid the deposit. xx

Bloody hell Georgina, that’s a ballache.. It’s just putting you out as well… It’s ridic, you’d think they would of informed you sooner – My surgery isn’t for a couple of months!! Have they made you pay more?? xx

    Menu

I actually couldn’t believe it! I told them I was so angry and upset about it.. No I’m not paying any more I made that clear to them.. I payed it off about 2 months ago and Iv got it on paper to say my outstanding balance is 0. Xx

That’s ridiculous!! Why did they even offer you CUI’s if they were going to stop using them !! Your right to refuse to pay the extra Katie xx

Thanks Katie hope you get sorted xx

You are getting the better implants but that was their choice, not yours. There is no way they can legally make you pay the extra cash! Ask to speak to a manager or ring head office and threaten to kick off! I’m sure they’ll start listening 😉 xxx

I’m having cui in July and I have not had any communication to say they aren’t using them. I’ve paid in full.

The difference between the CUI and the natrelle are that the natrelle have less rippling and more layers so less chance of rupture, also lifetime warrenty, ur still gunna have to have them replaced 10-15 years down the line! Lifetime garentee means if they rupture etc at any point they will replace them even if u have had them in 20 years Xx

I’ve paid in full and had my e document to sign and it says CUI on that. My op is a week on Monday. Do you think I’ll be having the CUI implants or the other ones then?

    Menu

Cui you get 10 year guarantee but they stilll last 15 to 20 years its just the other ones have a life time guarantee so if they ever ripple you get them done for free but that doesnt cover when they just simply need replacing if u get me x

Yeah i do understand that… But other girls on here are stil having CUI’s or atlest having their prices honoured – The point i’m making is because MYA have decided to change implants i shouldn’t have to pay more money when my Surgery is booked. x

what exactly is the difference with the new implants? I was told I am getting the new ones but didnt think to ask what the difference is between the old and new? xx

That’s interesting because I wasn’t offered CUI implants from the beginning. They said they are going to use natrelle and then 2 weeks before my operation they told me they’re swapping them for mentor but i had nothing extra to pay. confuzzzed :S
