Felt fine..5 days po in pain! Started by: Liberty ruby

    Felt fine the whole way up until now..feel sick in pain at my incisions, heavy out of breath and finding it hard to move..why is it only now hurting I’m really concerned!

    I feel for you hun, I had it from my second day till yesterday, I even called up the nurse as I threw up twice during the day yesterday. It’s most likely to be due to the number of painkillers you’re taking. I was taking quiet many of different types from day one that my body just broke down 🙁 I tried to take less and it helped actually but the muscles hurt when I move, although it’s not as bad as being sick :))

    the heavy out of breath is just cause of your chest and the weight, my nurse confirmed it today as i’ve had it too hun from about 2/3 days ago (i’m 8 days post op) it should go within a few weeks once your body is used to it, she just told me when it happens not to panic and to keep airways open by not scrunching shoulders up ect. I’ve had sharp ‘zapping’ pains from 2 days ago and she said it’s normal and not to over-do it even if you feel fine (i’ve been shopping everyday since op) i’m gonna have some proper rest this next few days and if you can, you should do too hun. Our heads say were fine but our bodies have just had a serious op so do need the rest xx
