Hi girls I’m doing all my research into BA but I’m worried about the recovery time?!? I have a 1 year old to look after! My partner can’t get any time off work! Il have family members around to pop in and help me out but only for the odd couple of hours here an there I’m worried il need much more help!? Xx
You should be fine to generally look after him with helpers popping in and out but you wont be able to lift your child so try and put things in place so you wont need to lift him.
I have my BA booked for the 30th November and I have a soon that will be 9months old at the time, my partner also cant take time off just the day I have the op and the day after.
Im trying to put things in place but if i cant manage I plan to move my friend in for a week or two if i cant manage on my own xxxxYes that what my partner can do he’s going to have the first 2 days off so hoping that’s better than nothing :/ my little boy is very needy and wants to constantly b held so I’m goin to have to somehow break the habit before surgery! And like you say about moving your friend in I may hve to do the same lol! Good luck with yours Hun xx

im sure we will manage some way or another 😀 i think everyones different too with how they cope and lets face it we have given birth so i rekon we will be fine 😀 xxxThat’s what I keep telling myself Hun! Nothing can beat the giving birth experience lol! Xx

0pHey Hun. I have a 15 month little girl. Its so hard as u cant do the things they are used to. (hold,cuddle,put to bed,bath,feed) . U will need some sort of help. I’m so thankful my partner could take a week off work. Plus iv been so sleepy as I’m not sleeping at night proply. Defo invite ur friends & family around. The first week is meant to be the worst then it gets better so I’m sure ul cope after that on ur own. Then again everybody is different somebody on this forum had her BA then managed to take her child to school the next day whilst pushing a buggy.. I couldn’t possible push a buggy yet!! Xx
Oh jade really! I’m going to try my best to arrange helpers for atleast the first week! I’m dreading the thought of not being able to pick up my boy or bath him etc! I’m just praying I’m not going to be one of the unlucky ones that take much longer to recover :/ how long ago did u have yours Hun? Xx

0pI was dreading it aswel as she’s such a mammys girl. I do everything with her but she’s been ok. Keeps trying to climb on me but my partner just picks her up & distracts her. Its not nice knowing i cant do anything with her. I’m only 4 days post op & I’m feeling better than yesterday so hoping the worst has past. Maybes if u get ur partner to bath him & do as much as he can a week before hand so ur little boy wont take it to bad. Are u wanting more kids in the future? Xx
Oh that’s good that your feeling better today! I heard day 3 is rough 🙁 and yes that’s a good idea I will get other half to help out when he’s home so little man isn’t as dependant on me! Yes we would like another baby in the future this was another question of mine! Will new boobies change much with pregnancy? I won’t be breast feeding next time round xx

0pAh yeah its awful. Are u having unders or overs? As recovery for unders is meant to take longer than overs. I plan on having another so i asked the nurse how long she recommends me wait & she said 12 months. Also when u are pregnant where ur sports bra every day to stop them sagging. I don’t plan on breastfeeding eiva. People think I’m stupid getting them done when I’m not finished having kids yet but its something iv always wanted & couldn’t wait any longer. When are having them done Hun? Don’t get me wrong its painful but so worth it!! Maybes if u by ur little man a new toy & distract him with that when hes wanting cuddled etc xx

0pAh yeah if u can afford to get them done this year go for it. Cose they’ll be settled & everything for ur wedding..(people say it takes a yr 2 settle proply) i had Mr mounir as my surgeon. If u don’t have enough breast tissue they wont want to do overs as there is more chance of rippling. I’m sure ul get the look & size ur after. Iv heard good things about all the surgeons Hun & you’ll know whose right 4 u. Gud luck with everything babe. Xx
Thanks Hun! Your boobies look fab 🙂 I’m a c cup now so have enough breast tissue but I’m so unhappy with them since breast feeding! They use to b a full D and I want to feel like me again 🙂 hopefully once I get the ball rolling everything will work out xxx

0pIm have a uplift with implants and I’m dreading not being able to pick up my 20 month old son and all the reast of the stuff he needs me for, he’s going to be so confused but he also like to jump all over me so I’m going to have to keep my distances and that’s going to hurt more then the op I thinking

I had my BA 8 days ago and I still can’t lift my 2 girls. One is 3 months and one is 2. My partner has taken 2 weeks off and I would never have coped without him. I was in so much pain the first 5 days and I literally couldn’t do a thing! X
think that definately confirms that my friend will have to move in with me for abit then, i should have really planned my op around the school holidays as my eldest is more than capable of picking up my little boy but never mind xxx
This is my main concern but I don’t want to leave it any longer cause something else always comes up! Il be having help from family so I just hope that going to be enough my boy is quite full on and a handful! Iv got my first consultation Saturday xx
I’m having an uplift and implants on 16th June and have a 6 month old I’m dreading nof been able to hold her. She’s permanently stuck to me. How have they let you have the op when your baby is only 3 months?? They cancelled mine which was suppose to be in april because they said there policy had changed and I had to wait till 6 months after having a baby xxx

0pHiya I’m on day 7 PO and to be honest it’s been really hard work with my 16 mo, she’s not walking and I haven’t be able to lift her but I’ve had to on occasion when my hubs not been there ( he runs a business and isn’t all that sympathetic to be honest either ). At my check up today I’ve actually slightly opened up one side of my incision 🙁 I didn’t dare say id lifted my daughter to bed and that’s what did it I’m sure. My mums been amazing in hindsight I should’ve stayed there with her and baby for this week but I didn’t want to rely on her too much esp as they weren’t thrilled about my BA … For the 1st week I’d have someone with you and baby all the time to avoid this and help as much as possible it’s not worth the complications x I’m not lifting her AT ALL this week now and being very careful hoping I’ve healed by next mon xxx
Oh Hannah I suppose it makes sense to have to wait 6months as your body is still goin through changes from pregnancy! Claire that’s what I’m worried about over doing it! But I’m going to ask my mother I law to stays for a few days and my dad’s retired so he can take the baby out for me I’m hoping that’s going to give me enough time to get as much rest as I can and recover! My other half will be with me the day of op and the following 2 days! Are you in a lot of pain still? Have you been able to get out of the house at all xx

0pIt’s just little things like changing a wrigglers nappy and moving from high chair to play pen to bed to car etc it’s axing how much we do without realising it ! I’m sore but not as achy and uncomfy and not had pain killers since day 4 so im feeling fine generally but just helpless when it comes to my baby x I have a 5 and 10 yr old and even struggled making butties last week as it hurst to reach and stretch but day 7 today and dressings off and sooo much better they feel like my boobs and I don’t feel achy and throbby anymore and don’t struggle with dishwasher or reaching for stuff now xx
