ok girls I know this gets asked a thousand and one times on here but trying to find a post when you want it never seems to happen so if people didnt mind could you just list what I should have in my hospital bag so i can get it packed, I like to be super duper organised or I get anxious about things!
    Thanks in advance 😀 xxx

I literally packed a million and one things, but really only needed a few! I needed big comfy knickers, pyjama trousers, button up pyjama top, zip up hoody for when I left (I was being driven there and home so I didn’t care what I looked like haha), slippers, sports bra, make up wipes, bottle of water with flip lid, V Pillow and STRAWS! omg, I needed straws to drink a cup of tea as I couldn’t sit up and it was soo much easier, and then magazines whilst I waited. that was about it. just think of the basics, don’t go crazy as you wont even need half of it x

brill thanks hun, yh its so easy to over pack isnt it, i will stick to the basics, im having my op at preston and i live miles away from so ive booked a hotel not really looking forward to it i would much rather be coming home but never mind.

I think ill take a fair few of my own pillows with me too cuz you just never know what your getting when you stay in a hotel xxx

Lucy seems to have mentioned everything I needed, straws are a good idea! And definitely take your own pillows! I am 3days post op and I am sleeping with 6 normal pillows and a V pillow as it is the only way I can get comfy! Everyone is different though, mine just feel really heavy so the pillows are good for support 🙂 Just have something to keep you occupied too like a book or magazine and if you are taking your phone don’t forget the charger! xxx

Nikki what hotel have you booked in Preston. I will be having my surgery here too and not sure where I am going to stay when it happens. Could you recommend a few that I could look at? Lucy and Jade have mentioned all that I think you will need from what I have read on people’s posts. Xxx
