Hi girls have my ba on Friday with my admission time at 7.30 really starting to get nervous now. Gave up smoking Friday to so am a bag of nerves! Any last min advice would be much appreciated xx
Hiya Hun, good luck and hope it all goes well for you. Nerves are understandable I was nervous up until I got to the operating theatre lol. Have you got all your things ready? Are you staying overnight or are you a day case? Make sure you have a loose top to wear afterwards. I was advised that a button or zip up one would be best because of restricted arm movements.
Have you been advised on all the rules like no piercings, no make up etc but you can take it off when you get there and maybe take something to occupy you in case if you’re waiting but your time is early so you might be the first one so hopefully you won’t have to wait 🙂
Got most bits ready u have twin girls so until they go to stay at my mums tonight then I will know what I have to do lol! And yeah I’m gonna take my belly bar and my engagement ring off when I get their and give them to my partner. And I keep missing calls from MYA so need to get hold of them. I’m just taking a juicy tracksuit top with me but I’m thinking I may take a pair of shorts as it’s gonna be one of the hottest days tomoÅ•ow! And yeah I hope I’m one of the first! And I’m just a day case hun. What time was your admission, op and time you went home? Xx
Aww lovely twins bless it’s nice of your mum to look after them. Sounds like you’re all set and ready, ah I used to as well but I phoned them myself and mentioned the calls I missed and they’ll let you know what it was regarding because they put it on the system I think. Juicy track suit sounds good but I advise on shorts yes I heard it’s going to be really hot!! I think you will be so hopefully not much waiting time Hun. My admission time was 12pm but I actually went down to get operated at around 3pm and came out the op about 4pm. Ended up going home around 9/10pm because I kept falling asleep afterwards due to the anaesthetic although my surgeon gave discharging permission around 6-7ish.
