I’ve got my op on Friday hun 🙂 are you excited? X in having 470 high profiles x
Hi I had 460 high profiles with mr traynor on 22nd April x7 weeks and one day post op and no he doesn’t use strapping xx not much to take if you are not staying overnight xexcept your sports bra something to elevate the boredom in case you are waiting x I took my slippers and own dressing gown but they do provide a dressing gown if you need it xx if u are normally a hungry person something for after I just had coffee and toast and was fine x you can go in your make up and take it off when you get there xx my recovery was ok not as bad as I thought like a heavy work out at the gym x not being able to wash my hair was the worst x booked in at the hairdressers at 4 days xday 5 was probably the worst bloated and uncomfy but only took the pain killers for two days x went to work at three days for half a day and was pushing a wheel chair lol don’t ask x didn’t attempt sex until 3 weeks xx severe joggers nipple at week one ended up with nipple cream and breast pads other than that all good x oh and at day 2 I weighed myself and had put 5lb on even though I’d eaten bugger all wasn’t expecting that xx any questions? Xxx
I had Mr Traynor and no he doesent use strapping. My recovery was pretty easy but i think the key is to take it easy. Even if u think u feel ok still take it easy in first two weeks as its a crucial time fot healing.
Take loose fighting clothes, a ftont fastening nra, magazines or a book and ur phone charger if ur batteries ss bad as mine.
Heyyy aww thanks so much girls!! Wow emma thanks for the heads up on the weight gain i bet u was well suprised did that go back down?
Defio gonna bring my phone charger laura my battery is so bad and ill die without my phone!! Haha… Aww im so excited!!
Apparrrently the strapping is horrible to have so im glad he doesnt use that!
Xxx
Take a pillow to put between you and the seatbelt for the way home, helped me out so much 🙂 xx
Thanks Ria 🙂 i will do ive bought one of those v pillows aswell people have said to get 🙂 ive added u ria hope thats ok xx
I took front a zippy hoodie, leggings, lucozade drink for the sugar, throat sweets (had sore throat for days) charger, magazines, iPad (with films on and Netflix) some belvitas as I’d saw to take snacks for after the op, pillow for the seatbelt, my slippers and my make up to put on after lol. I had an 8am admission time and didn’t even get a chance to watch any of my films, read any magazines or even look on here much as people were in and out all of the time, I between I was talking to my friend who took me down to Preston and she stayed down there with me that night in case anything went wrong. I went down to theatre at twenty to ten was back in my room at eleven all done and slept until mid day. Felt spaced out so pulled myself together had some tea and toast, saw mr traynor and left before two 🙂 staff there were amazing and really made the whole experience great and mr traynor is brilliant at what he does. I out on A LOT of weight in those few days! Now nine days post op and the weight has almost came off but I have big implants so have to account for the weight of those as well as your body retaining water due to the trauma of surgery, try to get yourself some windeze, laxatives, and ibuprofen if you can as the pain killers made me ill and I’ve saw some of the other girls say the same better to be prepared! Hope this helps xx
Aww claire thanks so much 🙂 defo gona take all ur advice!! Ill defo stock up on those medications.. Im really hoping ive got an early admission time so im not waiting around but suppose ill no a few days before! Ive got two little ones so my fellas gonna drop me off but then im gonna be on my own for awhile which im dreading coz he will have to sort the kiddies out!
Do the hospitals have wifi in? How are you feeling in urself now
Hun? Xx
I was at at Preston. Think there was wi fi but think had to pay for it.
Of course I don’t mind 🙂 added you now. Yeah the hospital has wifi but it was £5 I think for the day, You’ll have to check the price, I had my iPad with a contract sim in so didn’t use the wifi. I have two kids also (11year old and a 21 month old) my mam looked after them for me while I was away, stayed with her until Sunday and came home on Monday after an argument as she was going to work and leaving me with my youngest who isn’t potty trained so had to pick her up a few times she’s hard work lol. Overall though recovery has been ok, I thought I’d have been so much worse and not able to do anything but I guess because I’ve HAD to I’ve just got on with it. I was the same after both of my c sections as there is no one to help there’s no point in complaining about it you’ve just got to get on with it haven’t you? Overall feeling good, loving the boobies, waited a really long time to get them and now it’s like ALL of my Christmases and birthdays have came at once haha. I bet you are excited for your op now! I was, then became incredibly calm from the days leading up to the op, had a little cry as they were getting me ready for theatre as the last min nerves kicked in but was ok 🙂 xx
Aww claire yours look amazing i bet ur well chuffed!!! Mine r similar to yours post op! Yehhh im just so excited now really want the day to hurry up like you ive wanted this for a long long time!
But i bet i get those last minute nerves i never been put asleep before so abit scared about that lol..
My little boys 16 month whos in nappies and my little girls 3 but my partners gonna take 3 days off work so hopefully after that ill be abit more mobile.. Wooo not long now 🙂 xxxxx
