I’m having my op on wednesday and for the last week I’ve had bad pains in my chest when I breathe in deeply or move a certain way 🙁 going to hospital tonight hoping that it’s nothing serious to stop me from having my op!!!!

It may just be anxiety over the operation! X

Hi hun, hope you feel better soon, I’ve had anxiety in the past and it felt like what you’re explaining. I wasn’t allowed to take the propranolol I was prescribed before my operation but on the day they gave me something to calm me down and it really really helped. Good luck xxx

Thanks girls I’ve got my appointment at 7 so hopefully its OK. I’ve spoken to the nurse at mya and she says if its a pulled muscle its fine and to keep them updated. I do have quite bad anxiety but I’ve been feeling surprisingly calm about the operation but maybe this is my body telling me I’m not! Determined for it to not ruin it though I’ve been waiting months for it!

Just got back from the hospital and have been diagnosed with costochondritis, inflamation of the caritilidge in the ribs and it goes away by itself…really hoping this won’t stop me having my op think it’s also anxiety induced as now I know the pain is hardly there! Going to call my nurse tomorrow to make sure it’s ok 🙁
