    Never has it been so hard to quit smoking……..I’ve quit so many times in my life for periods of a year and always start again but I’m struggling so bad this time to stop for BA.

    I have 1 fag left and I’ve sent my partner to work with my bank cards so I can’t go and get any I’m just going to have to ride it out as I’ve only got 13 days to my op now and it’s the one thing I just want to knock on the head before I have my op so I don’t risk having a worse recovery.

    I have an ecig but I just struggle using it as it’s sooooo rough when I have it, I have the menthol one as I would normally smoke a menthol cigarette but it’s like smoking a benson and hedges fag with how rough it is.

    Wish me luck for today (wish my partner look too hahahaha as I know I’m going to be a crabby cow!!!) 😀 😀 😀

    Gud luck Hun. I quit when i was pregnant was off them for 18 months & started smoking again in march due to the stresses of moving house!! I cut down for my op but didn’t quit. Thought i would get told off but they asked how many i smoked & that was it. So I’m still smoking now 18 days PO & trying to think of a way to quit!! E-cigs are minging so harsh but i might just have 2 go & buy one!! Its so hard but u can do it. Stay focused!! It doesn’t help the nerves that go with having a BA!! Xx

    I’m the same Hun quit when pregnant and found it so easy then started again in jan this year and that was due to moving house it’s a nightmare ain’t it hahahaha, I will just have to stay strong 😀 will update later how I’ve got on xxx

    I’ve got plenty of chewing gum in so hoping it will help me xxx

    Haha i found it easy then aswel because u knew a little human relied on u!! This is totally different. Its for u & u only. I jst never had the willpower. Don’t stress to much if u give in, its hard. Some people just don’t understand !! I got lecture after lecture from my partner!! But I’m fine recovery was fine everybody is different. Gud luck Hun. Hope u can do it. Keep me updated. Xx

    Yup I’m Having my op today was still smoking yesterday! Always given up with my 3 pregnancies just couldn’t for this! Hopefully should be ok haven’t had one today though ulthough I’m dying for one with these nerves! X

    bless you, yh ill give it a bash but not putting too much preasure on myself as i know i will fail then and my partner is also a nightmare about it and constantly getting on at me for smoking when ive only got 2 weeks to go but what he dont realise is, he just makes it 10x worse for me and pisses me off then i want a fag lol
    Its alright for him he can smoke and stop whenever he feels like it but I cant xxx

    Also I’ve now seen everyone I need to see not once been asked about drinking or smoking haha! Should of had one today darn it! Xx

    I did smoke the morning of the op, nerves n apprehension wouldn’t let me not! I feel fine though, the more you pressure yourself you wnt be able too. I hate that I smoke n I’d love to quit just dnt think my times now x
