Antibacteria washing before op!! Started by: Jessii

    Hey girls! I was told to wash with antibacterial wash the night or morning of the op and just wondered what wash you used? I can’t find any and thinking of just buying an antibacterical hand wash, will that work the same? And when Mum had an op she said she had to use it for a few days beforehand and to wash her hair in it? Do we have to do that too? Or just use normal shampoo/conditioner and just a night before? Thaaaanks little ones xxxx

    I used simple antibacterial soap bar on the morning washed my hair 1st in the shower then through it up In a bobble wet then scrubbed my body with this! Just smells like a normal soap 🙂 xx

    I got some hibiscrub from boots, it’s specifically for before surgery etc and after as well 🙂 it’s only a few pounds x

    I got Sanex 0% you can get it from most shops and chemists xx

    Ah thanks! Mums just been to the shop and got me a dettol hand wash! HA! So at least I’ve got something for now and try get the others in the mean time! But not to wash our hair with it then? Just normal stuff!

    And moisturisers are we meant to stop that a week before because I’m still using mine now! I know fake tan you are to stop but couldn’t remember moisturiser and in using bio oil ATM too! Is that all allowed? HA xxxx

    Just make sure you have no products around your boobs mainly where incisions will be before you op so yeh u can fake tan but leave you boobs and tummy a week before them u can moisturise its fine but on the morning use normal shampoo whack your hair up hyena wash everywhere with antibacterial but focus on where they will operate 🙂 don’t apply anything after! Hope that helps 🙂 I did put cream all over my face before surgery it was so dry! Was told it was ok. Xxx
