    Anyone else go on there own ? : have no one to go with me from admission to after operation then my mum coming before I get released is that OK ? X

    I will be the same when I go! Coz my hubby will be looking after the kids (no one else is able to have them) he’s gonna pick me up after thou with the kids!

    I had my man with me its nice to have someone to talk to whilst ur waiting in ur room but that aside.. u go down with a nurse and wake up with nurse so really u do it on ur tod i found it quite scary but now i look bk it wasnt all that bad.. u’s will b fine xx

    It makes me more nervous too, the thought of sitting there waiting all on ur own, with no one to comfort u lol!

    I stayed over night too and did it alk by myself. ..no issues washing or dressing

    My boyfriend came with me for the first hour but then had to go to work so I was on my own when I was getting drawn on etc… Then got picked up like 5 hours later! I ended up feeling quite sorry for myself as I fainted twice after waking up from the op and didn’t have anyone to get sympathy from haha! But I think its honestly fine, if you’re quite independent anyway and have enough with you to keep you occupied you’ll be fine 🙂 xxx

    My partner came with me but then went into London to meet friends for lunch and when he was gone I went down and came back up! I thought I’d be so nervous but I wasn’t, the nurses ended up been my best friends for the day! There so kind and kept coming on for a chat! 😀 xxxx
