Deciding between MYA and Transform… Started by: Kate

Hi girls, I’m new here! Bit of background – I’m 25 but have been wanting a breast enlargement ever since I was a teenager. I thought I may ‘grow out of it’ and learn to accept what I’ve got (32B/34A) but I just can’t get it out of my head! I’m older now and am in a position to afford the surgery so I’ve started researching again.
I had a consultation with Transform earlier this week (PC and surgeon) and they seemed pretty good. The surgeon is called Mr Singh but not the same one who works for MYA! He was very pleasant, answered all my questions – however, he wouldnt show me any photos of the work he has done. This is because he doesnt want you to see an amazing pair of boobs then be disappointed if they dont turn out exactly the same as everyone is different. Fair enough I guess but I want to see some photographic evidence! Also, I cannot find any reviews about him ANYWHERE on the internet (they are all of Mr Singh from MYA!)
I had my consultation with MYA yesterday, who were also fab (Faye, Bristol clinic). I had read a lot about Mr Singh on these forums and I have an appointment with him on Monday! So excited!
So after I’ve been to see him, I have to make a decision. Although I havent seen Mr Singh from MYA yet, I’m kind of already leaning towards MYA as Mr Singh has a fab reputation from what I can see, is in demand and specialises in boob jobs. AND I’ve seen before and after photos!
Aftercare is also a big concern – Transform is 10 years whereas MYA is 5 years (both for medical problems). Although MYA’s aftercare is half the time, I want to make sure it is better – e.g. MYA cover for any grade of capsular contracture, whereas you will only be able to get it re-done with Transform if you have grade 3 or 4 CC.
Did anyone have consultations with both MYA and Transform? How did you make your decision? 🙂 xxx
I saw Mr Nathan at Transform in London but went with Mr Singh at Mya as I liked him better and there was far ore info on him. They also use different implants and i think that is the major price difference. I am 2.5 weeks po and I love my boobies x

Im hoping for a D/DD too! Aiming for a full D as im quite short but I dont want to end up wishing id gone bigger but then at the same time, I dont want them to look too fake, seems like most girls have that worry!
Definitely have a lot to look forward to! Although it seems like the last 2 weeks, all I have thought about is having a boob job and the wedding seems to have taken a massive backseat! I’ll have to try and control that nearer the wedding, dont want to spend my whole wedding day thinking about getting it done! Hehe xxxx

Did you go to Transform in Bristol as well? I has a consultation with PC there. What a horrible experience! She couldn’t even get me a price to start with, she couldn’t recommend a surgeon that Would do both my procedures at the same time, kept saying she needs to talk to them first (I’m thinking you just want more money).
She gave me a rough estimate and kept saying “how much do you have saved up now? How are you gong to pay for it?”.. I think she asked about 6 times how much I got NOW. And I’m thinking what does it matter to you? We are 5-6 months ahead, I’ll get the money, if not we won’t do it!?
Then she said the would call the next day, she didn’t. Then she called on Friday 5pm (left a voice mail) saying how much will cost me and I would have to pay 50% of it as a deposit by MONDAY?!! And she’s not in over the weekends. She’s not entirely there.. Good thing it was a voicemail as I think i’D just laugh at her tell her where to stick it. LOL. That’s over 4k as a deposit?! Without even seeing any surgeons!!! How stupid does she think I am and how desperate is she? She looked so rough as well, her roots were like 3 months overdue in colouring, unwashed hair, horrible nails, no make up.. I’m sorry but if you “sell” BEAUTY, make yourself presentable at least. Instead she looked she was high on something.
So that was Transform experience for me:)Mya and Faye on the other hand were (still are) the best. I hope they keep being so as there is no one else as good.
Oh and the price was the same for both clinics for me.
I had Dr Singh for full tummy tuck and re-argumentation. So far I’m happy:)
Good luck!Hey Yana, yes I went to see Transform in Bristol too! I had a good experience with the PC there (maybe it wasnt the same one!). Your experience doesnt sound great though, no suprise you went with MYA! At least it made the decision easier for you 🙂
Awh Faye was lovely yesterday, really good experience! Really cant wait to see Mr Singh on Monday. I’m glad you had a good experience with him too!

0pI wasn’t happy with transform they were my first consultion it didn’t feel right for me anyway I’ve had friends have there surgery a done them but when I met with the PC (wasn’t very nice at all) I just felt like I was buying a car or something so I went with mya and I’m glad I did (hope I’m not speaking to soon) lol
Hi Kate. I was debating on having a consultation with Transform as I know someone who had hers done with them and they look amazing but I have heard from lots of other people that they seem quite money orientated….And now I have read your post. I was also planning on having a consultation with MyBreast. I haven’t seen any ladies mention MyBreast and I didn’t know whether you’d had a look into them at all? I am also 25, 32B and would love to be a D/DD x

I did visit my local transform clinic and I wasn’t happy. The PC had no idea what she was talking about and was pretty much reading about my procedure (breast reduction) word for word off a piece of card.
Mya have put me at ease from the start, my PC is fantastic and my surgeon is Mr Singh and I have every faith in his work.Nicola
0pI went to transform, Harley medical, hospital group and mya. I felt more comfortable with mya which is why I chose them. I had mr Traynor Wednesday gone and he has done an amazing job. I love them so much, can’t thank him enough. My PC at newcastle clinic has been great always answered my questions and rang me back when I couldn’t get in touch with her. Xx

0pI saw my PC, Dereth and found her so bossy and pushy. When I told her that I wanted to see Mr Borghini, she started making one excuse after the other how he cant see me. So I came home called their headoffice in Manchester and arranged an appointment with him – the person on other end of the line must have put me through as a Manchester client, so then Dereth calls me and tells me how its against the rules and I am already a Leeds client bla bla. I told her, I wanna see Mr Borghini and so dont care about any rules, if you have an issue you should resolve it internally. WHAT A LOAD OF ****. We are people not a piece of meat, just because we are going through a cosmetic surgery, it doesnt mean that we dont deserve courtesy. it is still a medical procedure ans we should be guided properly not treated like a business deal. Sorry about the rant but I feel like girls deserve to know the truth about Transform. xx

0pHi kate, I also had/have Fay as my PC at the Bristol clinic n also had Mr Singh! Definitely won’t regret choosing him if you do, he is amazing n so nice. Feel free to add me if you like so you can see my pics n his amazing work. I am just over 3 weeks post op n so happy so far =D xx
