Hey ladies

I’m 4 weeks post op and my right boob is all soft and pain free but my left is still quite hard and painful. Is this normal? I’m flying out to Tenerife on Friday so hope it’s all okay.
Is it something I should ring the nurse about?

Any advice would be great.

Also when I lay down it just stays in the same position so sits differently to my other. Just hasn’t really got any movement.

They do drop and soften at different times as essentially they are two different ops. I would ring the nurse just for peace of mind though. I found mine have evened out differently at different times and my right is more firm than the other but no pain really. Call the nurse just incase i would. And also massage the breast that is feeling tight or painful, this encourages blood flow and for them to soften.

Yeah think I will give the nurse a call tomorrow as I don’t want anything to go wrong whilst away. I worry about that capsular contracture I think. They do sit slightly different and the firmer one doesn’t have slot of movement really. Bug every time it gets touched slightly it feels really sore.
Apart from that I feel fine.

Hi, Helen. I’m 5 weeks po and my left Still feel hard compared to my left. And still slightly high. And still slightly sore and my incision is swollen. But the last few days I’ve start to be able to feel the muscle again. They say it just takes time. But for piece of Mind you could speak to your nurse. Xx
