    Hi girls, im day 3 post op and feel fine. Im just wondering when you can drive? My mums having an operation tomorrow and I wanted to be able to take her but don’t want to risk anything happening to my new boobies. Xxx

    I got told to wait at least 10 days but some people on Instagram said like3/4 days but think they were from America so I presume they didn’t have to worry about gear changing etc. which is what will strain most. Maybe ring your nurse and ask her. I mean the recommended time off for exercise is 6 weeks but I’ve seen girls post that they’re back in the gym after 3-4 weeks because their bodies felt ready 🙂 everyone’s recovery is different but I would check with the nurse to be safe 🙂 xxx

    Hi, I waited for 2 weeks. I just could manage it. I did try after a week I’m my other half automatic and it was just to heavy for me, turning the steering wheel was tough.everyone is different. Personally I wouldn’t have drove after 3days.xx hope recovery is week.

    hey I’m now just over 4 weeks PO and i tried driving 11 days PO and i hurt myself. i only tried driving a mile as thats how far away my work is. I thought i felt up to it but i think i hurt the muscle. Found it very difficult to turn corners and roundabouts and generally felt like i shouldn’t have been driving.
    But we are all different.

    Hi ladies I drive my son to a swimming lesson 1 week po. It was only a mile down the road. It was uncomfortable (mainly seatbelt) but not painful. The next day drive 35 miles to my po check up. Same thing but pleased I did it as I felt it forced me to stretch more and I ache loads less today than ever before.
