When they took my strapping off it took nearly 45 mins as I have super sensitive skin felt sorry for the nurse, I kept crying and all the glue from the strapping stuck to me , It was taken off last Wednesday I’m still v. Sticky now. Nurse said she’s never seen anyone react to the glue like me in her 10 years of doing her job. Most people only get a little bit of residue left of their skin but in my case literally ALL Of the glue from the strapping stuck to me. After that the nurse used a heap of surgical wipes to try remove some of the glue, as I was scared my clothes were gonna get stuck tight to my skin by the time I got home. Whole process took over an hour I’m sure normally it takes a lot less time if you have normal skin. I was so red afterwards. Sorry girls but if you have sensitive skin I feel your better off warned… Because I honestly wasn’t expecting it to hurt me as much as it did. Even though I know the nurse was doing her best to be gentle. x
