    Can anyone who has already had the operation help me out with a question.

    I am booked in next Wednesday for my BA at London with Mr Ademo and just wondered if someone could clarify if when they put you to sleep do they put a tube down your throat? And if they do, did you have a sore throat when you woke up afterwards?

    Hi Kelly

    Mr Adamo did my op 5 weeks ago, and no i didn’t have a tube down my throat. I also didn’t have drains, don’t think Mr Adamo uses them as far as i know.

    Good question Kelly. I had a rhinoplasty last year and had a terrible time with my throat afterwards cos of the tube. Good to know I won’t have to worry about that again (hopefully!)

    Hi Girls,

    I had a tube down my throat when I had mine done with Mr Adamo on 2nd Sept. Woke with quite a sore throat, nothing unbearable, was just difficult to eat anything for the first few hours. It took me an hour to eat a sandwich afterwards! That was only about an hour after my op though. Nothing painful though, honest! Also, take some chap stick, my lips were really flaky and dry afterwards! xx

    Thanks for that! Im not bothered about having it, just wanted to know what to expect.

    How are you getting on – its only been a few weeks – are you pleased with your results and also Mr Adamo?

    I have had the op and all went ok x

    Im not sure if I had a tube or not as i didn’t have a sore throat!

    Thanks for the tip about the lip balm – it came in very useful.
