I am over the moon! I had my initial free consultation with the nurse yesterday, applied for MYA finance and was accepted today! I clicked on the link and it’s asking me to pay the deposit, do I pay my deposit prior to seeing the surgeon (I’m booked to see him Wednesday 17th September) or do I hold out until then? SOO excited right now!

Hi hun great news!! when my finance was accepted i paid my deposit the next day. There is no rush as far as im concerned. They wil send you an email with a link that will take you to the page you pay your deposit on. I paid my deposit before i met my surgeon only because i wanted to secure my date there and then. and they cant secure a date until you pay a deposit ( there was only 1 day i could possibly have surgery), otherwise i would have waited until i met my surgeon. but its entirely up to you xxx

Hi Lucy thanks for the advice that’s great news! I am sure I will be fine for surgery no problems with my health, my only concern is that I have the contraceptive implant an I’m having it removed this wednesday so I’m unsure whether that will complicate things as it’s a local anaesthetic operation. i really want the surgery done in October, I’ve been considering BA for 4 years now so 100% sure this is for me!

    Leanne I went for the 3 year option at £150 a month 🙂 x

I need to look at my options this week. Got my
Second consultation tomorrow a mini tummy tuck. Exciting! I am sure I was told I didn’t have to have the implant (contraceptive) removed. I’ll be p’ed off if I do have to as I’ve had massive problems getting my periods to settle down. X

Ooh exciting good luck with that! I’m so excited! I’m having my implant removed at my GPs as my symptoms aren’t worth keeping it in and is affecting my relationship with my partner but hopefully having it removed a couple of weeks before the BA op won’t affect it 🙂
