    Hi everyone
I am having my surgeon consultation this week for a BA and I’m nervous I might be told I need an uplift. Has anybody else been in a similar situation but it turned out they were able to have just the BA? Or has anybody had an uplift and BA who were really happy with the results?
Whilst I have never had big boobs, I have just lost 4 stone and I feel like there could be a chance of needing an uplift alongside a BA which scares me!

Any advice/ words of wisdom welcome
    Thanks
    Natalie

Have you measured from shoulder to nipple ? If over 21″ chance of needing uplift I was worried one of mine 22 the other 23 he said I was fine didn’t need one xx

    Hi Roxanne
I haven’t measured no, not got a clue about how the surgeon decides so thanks for helping. In my case he might take one look and know! Am i measuring in inches or cm’s? 21 inches seems like it would be past my belly button ( i am 5ft 5 inches tall) but if centimetres i think I am definitely going to need one as looks more than 21cm 🙁

Have you had your BA yet? If so how did you find the experience, did all go well and the results meet your expectations?
    xx

    Hey Nat
I was in exaclty the same position as you
One surgeon Dr Khan told me I will need a uplift-he was horrible and really rude
I seen Dr Singh who said I was bordeline but its a risk I was prepaired to take
I had 800 cc with him and i am really happy
Saying that if they are too low the surgeon wont do it
But I do recommend you see Dr Singh I think this is one of his specialities but you might have to go big so the implant lifts the breast

Hiya, i was in this situation and ended up having the uplift too. I had my op on Friday and I’m already really pleased! Feel free to add me and have a look at my pictures, can’t really see much yet but will put more pictures up on Thursday after my strapping is removed 🙂 xx

Thanks Jasmine, I have Dr Mounir on weds up in Manchester, not sure if Dr Singh works up here? I guess I will take the surgeons comments on board and see what he suggests and not rush any decision. Is it ok if I add you ( not that i quite know how to do that yet as new on here but will figure it out!) xx

Thanks Megan, I will add you now. Im glad you are pleased with your results 🙂 How are you feeling now as it was only a few days ago? Is the procedure supposed to be more painful after an uplift and with longer recovery times? xx

I think i need to add a whole host of questions to my list for the surgeon on weds about uplifts now as my measurements take me way past 21cm – thanks for confirming Roxanne and good luck with your op! xx

    Oh ill add you 🙂
There are many downsides though, like for example I know eventually I will need a uplift which I will probabley do once I have my kids
Also I have had to go really quite big but I am happy with that lol
Yea just see what he says, I mean whatever he suggests is in your best interest and I believe Dr Mounir is a experienced surgeon so he will know what he is talking about

I’m feeling ok 🙂 not as bad as I thought I would and I’m only taking ibuprofen rather than co codamol …. As for the recovery time it’s still 7-10 days just like a normal BA xx

I think I have sent you a request Jasmine! Yeah there is lots to consider. I don’t want to go big really, perhaps a solid c, small d cup. I have heard good things about Dr Mounir and apparently he is very neat so thats good news if an uplift is required. I suppose i just need to be patient now and wait to hear what the expert recommends, but that is easier said than done when I wanna know NOW! xx

I totally understand how you feel I was the same .In the weeks leading up to my consultation I was so worried and just wanted to know my options lol
You think with plastic surgery, because you are paying so much you will get exactly what you want
But its not like I imagined lol
But do let me know how you get on

I have a rubbish pain threshold so I will probably take everything I can get. That’s good recovery is the same time, I thought it may have been longer. Just had a look at your pictures Megan and I can see why you are pleased, they look fab already! I can’t wait to have ‘proper’ boobs lol xx

I will keep you posted Jasmine, only another couple of days to wait but i am now preparing myself for hearing the word ‘uplift’ and if it’s not then its a bonus. (If i’m this impatient waiting for a surgeon consultation, god knows what I’m going to be like waiting for my actual op, cant have it done until xmas holidays!) xx

When the first surgeon told me I needed a uplift I wanted to cry. I have never had kids just lost 7 stone , I just knew it was not right for me. But saying that I have seen some amazing uplifts done here with pratically no scars, it really is not as bad as you might think it is. I have seen some amazing results and they all look so natural and pretty. I know I will have to cross that path one day though but thats okay for now I can live with that.Oh I can relate to that, in a way I miss the excitement that built up before surgery
Try to enjoy it and yes please keep me posted
