Had my op yesturday, was the first on the list which I was sooo happy about. My admission time was 8am but I got there at 7:30am and was taken straight to my room which was fab. Nurse, anaesthetist and surgeon all came to see me, I was given a gown, and some sexy paper knickers and knee high socks! I was taken down to theatre at about 10am I think, and the first thing I remember is waking up and a nurse asking me if I wanted to see them, I was so out of it so I looked at them and as soon as I looked away I had forgotten I even looked and just said ‘I had a well good sleep’ hahaha typical me! The GA made me very emotional and I cried a lot when I was taken back to my room. I had tea and toast, some painkillers and I was discharged just after 3pm.
I am currently sat watching boring daytime tv, feeling very sore! But so glad it is all over, and my surgeon said if I don’t win a swimwear competition then I have to go back and tell him hahaha. Haven’t managed to see them properly but my mum said they look perfect, which is reassuring 🙂
