Will I be strong enough to put makeup on 3 days after breast implants? Started by: Rach

I work as a makeup artist and have to attend a posh dinner event 3 days after my breast implant surgery. So my makeup has to look good.
I’m not sure if my arms will be feeling weak after the surgery?

You will be fine, I was so worried about this too! I was also worried about how I will leave the clinic make up free but honestly I felt fine and slapped it on lol, not as much as usual but I was still able to lift my arms enough to do a full face hahaha

Okay.. I feel better about it now! 🙂 Do you still think I’ll be okay, bearing in mind it will take me about 2 hours to do a full face / dramatic look?
Also, will I feel strong enough to go out for dinner, after 3 days? Eek.

I dont want to scare you but for me personally at day 3 po I could not of left the house and socialised. Its really difficult to lift your own body weight or even flush the chain in the toilets. Your not in that much pain its just uncomfortable, some girls heal very well though but for me I couldnt have

3 days post op make up and socialising was the last thing I COULD of handled never mind wanted to do lol ! I was fighting fit by day 5 , but day 3 for me was Uncomfy , sickly , tired and miserable xx

My make up looked terrible for a good few days only at 5 day post op could I lift my arms I still can tie my hair up properly instill can’t open the car door lol x

On the 3rd day it was my worst day i think…i felt a lot of pain and couldnt push the button to flush toilet like jasmine mentioned… let alone holding a plate was a mission for me lol i didnt have to go anywhere so didnt wear makeup but i doubt it i could do my makeup for such event maybe only to slap some foundation, eye brows and mascara just basics. I dont want to scare you off but you might feel a bit uncomfy even sitting on a chair lol

I was on very strong meds.. tramadol and 3 others.. i could put make up on and i could lift my arms i just took it slowly in fear as trust me u will be treating the new additions like eggshells.. could i have sat at a dinner table for some time comfortably without any fuss.. i dont think so xx

I was 3 days post op yesterday and managed to do a full face although it took me at least an hour haha!! I also managed too out for lunch for a family members birthday, I think I was out for around 3 hours just took my pain killers with me and when I got home had a nap as it took it out of me haha!! Good luck xxx

Hey Hun! You should be absolutely fine. I had my operation done on Friday and iam now back in work 8-5. It’s a
Little uncomfortable but definitely bearable! Hope everything goes well xxx
