They will prop postpone it Hun I your ill yes, you need to be well enough, and for the sake of another week or so this is at your best interest as you won’t want to be feeling rubbish, also if your immune system is down you could be more prone to infection. If it is a throat infection you have they defo won’t as you will need antibiotics to clear it. A girl on here had a water infection and she had it the weeks after, same day as me. I know it dis heartening if that’s the case but it’s for the best. Hope your better soon. Xx

I had a cough and sore throat 4 days before my op. I was so annoyed but I literally stayed in be all weekend and drank so much honey and lemon in hot water. By the day of my op I just had a slight cough but they still went ahead with surgery xx
