Okkk 🙂 so here it is, monday morning im going to preston at 10.30! Im currently a 34a/b and im having 375cc in my left and 400cc in my right partials! hoping to be a full D/DD..
I still have a ton of questions that id like to ask my PC and also mr mounir but i wonder if any of you can answer them! will i have much time with mr mounir on the morning to ask him a few things?
why does mr mounir not use drains? and what are drains for? why does he only put scar dressings and not full strapping on?
why do we bloat after surgery? how do you prevent air pockets post op?
ALSO where can i get a copy of my warranty/terms and conditions to find out what im covered for in case of an emergency and what i will have to pay extra for?
I have Mr mounir tomorrow! My admission is 9.30! I would like all these questions answered too! I’m a 32B/C and also having 375/400cc unders !!! So excited xxx
Hey candice I had Dr Mounir last Monday at Preston. He’s lovely you have nothing to worry about and all the staff at the hospital are amazing! I was a 32a and had 375cc hp under the muscle and am hoping to be a d cup. On the morning of your surgery you’ll see Dr Mounir he will come into your room and discuss everything you spoke about at your first meeting with him so you will get the chance to ask him any questions then he wil draw on you ready for your op. He doesn’t use drains. I asked why and he said your more prone to infection with drains and most people don’t need them anyway. He said he would use them on me if I wanted to but I didn’t want them anyway. I’m not sure why he doesn’t use strapping but I much prefer it without I just have dressings on and my sports bra. I did have to wear a compression band but it was agony ao after speaking to my nurse she said I could remove it. I was bloated for a few days but it wasn’t too uncomfortable just drink plenty of water. Hope this helps a bit 🙂 xx
I’ve got my op in Preston Monday also with Mr Mounir. I have to be there for 8am! I’m having 350cc unders. Ao exciting/nerve racking! xx
Drains are used to drain any bleeding you might have after the op ad are usually removed the next day. Most surgeons avoid them because anything inserted under the skin increases risk of infection. (This is what i know from nursing in the NHS, MYA might practise differently).
if you find out answers about air pocketing id be interested to know!
GOOD LUCK! xxx
I think the bloating is a reaction to the anaesthetic! I had my op in preston last monday with dr mounir 400cc overs. Was really bloated from around two days after until yesterday, looked about 5 months pregnant! Was also really constipated from the co codamol so this didnt help the bloating. Drank plenty of peppermint tea and took senokot which seemed to help! Good luck with everything x
I wasn’t bloated at all, infact quite the opposite had a flat tummy and I lost my appetite as well so that helped so maybe not everyone gets bloated?? Also loved that he doesn’t use strapping nice to be able to look at your boobs straight away and settle straight into a sports bra and I also find it really comfy! I had 375 and 350 ho partials, I’m sure I have you as a friend on here, I’ve uploaded some photos 🙂 xx
Just wanted to say thanks to all of you who took the time to reply I really appreciate it 🙂 gonna add those of you I don’t already have as a friend 🙂 one more sleep! Eek! Xxx
